Time to give this thread a bump:  Finally got a chance to get a solo in (it's been like... weeks, lol), and I decided to try out the easy mode turian cabal, as I had seen it played by a very shameless score*****.  Turns out that this kit is SICK.  Me and this turian never really got along, but give her an incendiary reegar and OMG, it is retarded, lol.  My second fastest solo to date, and by FAR the easiest... stoked on ME3 once again - thank you turian lady

My fastest gold solo to date, and my first top 5 finish in this thread.  Man, this kit is just plain awesomesauce!  After reviewing my previous run, I hypothesized that the geth scanner wasn't really necessary, since this character has a countless number of "get out of jail free" abilities.  So I decided to take AC5 for a spin... took a few tries for the spawns to work out (and they were by no means perfect), but the enemies lined up pretty well for me on my third attempt.  3 killstreaks in the first five missiles, along with a couple other good ones.  If the wave 10 cleanup missile would've cleared the map, it would've been sub-20.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL.  This mother****** gives no f**ks about any RNG, faction, or player ability.  He just doesn't care.  He is completely f**king shameless.  For so long I've been trying to balance my builds so that they're effective, but still respectable... today I changed my mind.  F**K THAT S**T.  Take 1 x Krogan, 1 x Incendiary Reegar, 4 x 9m radius inferno nades, and 9 f**king rockets... and guess what, you will give no ****s or ****s about anything whatsoever.  You could waste all 9 rockets on wave 1 and still sub-20.  You could probably use no inferno nades and still sub-25.  But take them all together!? OMG, can you say PUGWRECKER!?

P.S. My apologies for my excessive explicit enthusiasm, I am very excited.  My first gold solo was with a Krogan, and now my first sub-20.  I am very happy right now, and cannot wait to wreck all things PUG with this kit!

Another entry into the top 5.  No cluster grenades.  Maximum exploitation of incendiary bug.  Crap spawns.  Epic wave 6 objective at 9:33 (Epic as in OMG what have I done to pi$$ off the RNG gods!?).  Smoothest glacier extraction ever.  Fire and biotic explosions galore.  Took me a few tries, as this kit is not nearly as tanky as any Krogan, lol.

Did not think I would enjoy the AJ as much as I did. Did you know that her biotic sphere can detonate fire explosions!? Never played her before and didn't want to fail, so of course I took the dark lord aka reegar carbine once again. But tbh, I think the wraith would have served me better here.

Wave breakdown: 1-2: Reave and Reegar show, 4, 5, 7, 8: Bubble-trapping Glacier Basement. 3, 6, 10: Escort, Escort, Package. 9: AC5 ALL THE WAY BABY (fastest wave 9 ever - starts at 15:09 and lasts all of 65 seconds - ty RNG!

The sub-20's keep rolling in.  This time a 3rd place finish for the Destroyer, and possibly the only solo ever to NOT spec into DM (it's heresy, I know).  But, in return, he gets both Hawk Missiles and Multi-Frags, with additional speed and a dodge ability to boot.  The bottom line is... who needs DM when you have a Reegar Freaking Carbine!?

I know you are on PC and that sure probably has something to do with it, but how do you get your video uploads to look that high quality?  Whenever I upload to YouTube, they seem to degrade...

It is probably not fair to compare your video to PC, since the resolution and framerate on PC are going to be higher.  That being said, if your video looks noticeably degraded after you view your upload on the highest quality setting, then this means that youtube may have had to re-encode your video, inevitably degrading it somewhat in the process.

The settings I use personally are: 1920 x 1080 resolution, 60 FPS, 22 Mbps, H.264 codec, MP4 container.

Although it is only 720p, the display is sharper than most 1080p last-gen console vids out there.  IIRC, he recently posted his recording rig in a thread on here somewhere (i think it is actually PC graphics card or something along those lines).  Maybe PM him?

Well played.  I really like this solo.  Question: did you take GS over AC5 in the interest of speed or survivability?  I only ask because I tend to clear faster with AC5 when not using AP / Drill Rounds / Stacked piercing mods.

Thanks. I go for survivability, I guess. But using AC 5 really isn't my preference, clear times aren't that important to me.
