Awesome solo. You have any way of recording? I'd love to see a video of this or a solo like it, even if it's just potato quality or really low res.  I like quarians, and QFI lancer isn't a very common build. I could probably learn something from it. 

 

I have FRAPS, but recording for more than a few minutes gives me a huge FPS drop. My laptop is a piece of **** - I have to run ME3 at the lowest resolution anyway. If/when I upgrade and get a better PC I'd be happy to. With my laptop at the moment, it probably wouldn't be worth attempting a solo gold while recording - because I'd hardly do my best while at 10fps. So yeah, I'll let you know if/when I get a better PC and I'd be happy to show you a video.

 

QFI+Lancer is my absolute favourite No doubt some people here would argue I don't spec my QFI in the accepted manner but oh well.

I gave it everything I had, but it was not to be. I did the very best it was possible for me to do, and I tried to do everything as quick as possible. I gave the Reapers no mercy. It was the most difficult challenge my Quarian had ever faced.
And she failed. By a matter of seconds.

Small tip, try it with the Geth scanner, it really makes a difference in solos. Some nerds thinks it's so "OP and destroyed the game" or whatever, but who cares, it's amazing for soloing.

I can see how AP ammo and Geth scanner would go together. Not sure if it's possible though. I get a weird double vision thing when I use Hunter Mode (not my eyes, my screen). Since GS and HM are pretty similar it might cause the same problem. Can't say I've used it while being on PC so not 100% sure, but I can always give it a go.

I had a similar problem, and after a bit of searching I found out that, in my case at least, alt+tabbing after turning hunter mode on solved the double vision thingy. Can't remember what exactly the cause was, but I seem to recall it being related to the low resolution I play at.

Oh, right, thanks. Yeah I play at 800x600. Awful laptop I'm afraid. Would have liked to record my solos but I'm limited by my laptop. One day I shall buy myself a good PC and try and do it again.

@TheN7Penguin, fraps is a horrible resource hog, especially on low end systems. You might want to try MSI afterburner.  At the very least, I've managed to get it recording with few frame drops on really low-end laptops (running 1st gen I3 processors and integrated graphics). Your mileage may vary. 

 

So... are those Bronze/Silver things for real? I could totally do that, if phone pics of TVs are acceptable. Since I am on PS3 and lack any decent PC hardware, that is the best I can do. However, I can easily fill those lists with decent times for you. Sub-15 Bronze and Sub-20 Silver are easy, I just need to work on my Golds, I will never be as good as some of those times... maybe because I can't cheat on Objectives (Objective hacking should be banned).

 

Yes, those bronze/silver things are for real. Phone pics are fine, so long as the name, difficulty and final time are at least somewhat decipherable. 

 

That aside, every kit in the gold archive has a spot reserved for the fastest time for each platform. You can always try to beat the existing PS3 records, all of which were achieved without objective hacking.

So, I figured I'd do a test run, since I haven't done a proper gold solo in quite a while... I am so very, very rusty. I failed to predict the spawns on two waves, I couldn't get any good positioning on 7, 8, and 9 (Got superb positioning on wave 10 cleanup though). I'm so ashamed of the time, I made the Geth Engineer look very bad, I'm not even going to admit how badly I did.

After this, I tried beating it almost 10 times but I kept getting targets/devices on wave 6/10, or just messed up badly.

I would have kept on trying but I ran out of pistol amp (I'm gonna need to play assault rifles for a while, I have 150 of those).

 

I wanted to go under 20:00 and I'm not giving up, will try again when I get some more pistol amps.

tripple pizza, but kinda derped a bit here and there. Lost alot of time on w7 cos i just messed it up, got spawns all over the place and ended up running around alot.

On w6 i got trapped in the darkroom with 2 brutes and 2 ravagers, I ran in, picked up the pizza, turned around and both doors were blocked.

And i fired the cleanup nuke to soon, getting only the banshees with it.
