I did another solo, this time with the glorious Turian Sentinel, unfortunately it is still not HOF time but it was faster than yesterday's one (45 mins, HOF here I come ) Looked up the worst time for the TSent and it still sub 20 mins!    I need to practice a bit more on this one ...   

On the other hand 45 mins would be a HOF time with some other kits, like volus mercenary ... ^^

Still not HOF material but there is plenty of room to improve (unlucky objectives, wasted rockets, etc.).

Overall, I am pleasently surprised: this little guy is very tanky with the two agro drop tool and the shield boost. Also the detonating drone/decoy combo works hilariously well vs geth. This solo could have been improved a lot too, objectives were: targets, targets and hack. I feel it is bit of unlucky. The second targets were a nightmare. Used missiles in both case to switch targets (2-2), which worked fine, but in the second case the last hunter went into cover and all the geth seemed to protect it from me. I did not want to use up any more missile so it took me ages and a medigel to kill it.

Took some of my favorite kits in some Gold solos today and two of them did just a good enough job to join the speedrun HOF.

With the Human Adept I missed the required time (36:46 against Cerberus) probably because of a wasted missile that only killed a Centurian.  Next time!

Managed to get 10 WS during one of the challenges I was doing. The time isn't great because it was flawless until wave 10 devices, then I used all 6 missiles in a fit of rage but salvaged the 10 WS.

What is it, that I get 9 out of 10 times targets for W3 objective?

 

Wanted to record for the first time, but got serious performance issues during the 2. Wave, so I had to stop recording. Anyway, it was just me hardscope-stasis-sniping (no, no 360 noscope) and screaming running away from banshees (also screaming).

Fantastic (read: horrible) nukes. 3 Gels during W1 and W2. For Wave 10 I had only one thermal clip pack left. During extraction wave I was running around, permanently on shield/health gate. Got literally stagger pushed into the shuttle.

 

P.S.: Killed a combat drone with the pylon.

Speaking of which, it looks like the BF3 Soldier doesn't have 10 entries yet, so the one successful (in terms of extracting) run I did on Rio trying to complete 183 Pull-ups where I failed to get the three gold medals needed for the challenge would qualify for the list (despite being a pretty sad time for a "speedrun")...

I'm not unhappy with the time, but messed up the first objective by luring all enemies into LZ area, so I had to nuke for the second pizza. Had to kite for the 4th device because of sneaky hunter surprising me during disabling.

Maybe I should try glacier. Sometimes I had to run and search for dem toasters. Devices on glacier on the other hand...

Tuff little guy, very durable and a good weapon class with the orb debuff, too bad it has no headshot bonus (I could almost OHK a pyro after one orb debuff at mid range, I dared not to try it at close range though ).

Objectives: escort, 4 devices, escort. I almost gave it up two times: first when I got 4 devices. The first one was in the middle near the ladder (on the top), geth were already there, tried to missile it but to no avail, wasted two missiles. Then I had to kite them the long way, it worked well but took a lot of time.

Then in wave 8 I messed it up big time. Got cornered by pyros at the back of the map, near one of those waist high obstacles ... drat, used up 3 medigels and a missile to get out. Those were my last 3 medigels and only 1 missle left ... "that is it" - I thought to myself, but then my inner volus said to me "earn your credits". So switched to FU mode and finished the wave.

The last escort was relatively easy, I used the remaining missile to clear a path, I got a reasonably safe route after that. Then I  spent the last wave (without gels or missiles) cloacking and running around the map ... til I got cornered by hunters. Drat, luckily had two ops packs left, used them both and somehow manged to run away into the arms of the shuttle.

Pay day!!!!

Probably not.

That's what I assumed. The piercing mod isn't enough for double hits, Reapers don't hide much behind cover, and Dark Channel, when combining all possible bonuses, is ridiculously powerful.
