I can't tell whether that's approval or not lol and she seems to be pretty effective in the like hourlong cutscene they show, soya be not. But you can be a one eyed archer right?
She'd lose her stereoscopic vision which means that she wouldn't be able to judge the distance between objects, thus her sight would remain without the depth of field.
Uhh seriously? The number of scars that everyones wardens pick up from battling ogres, hurlocks, mad broodmothers and various other nasty stuff makes their torso a patchwork of scar tissue. And you plan to reject her for one tiny scar on her body?
That's just silly. If anything the scars will add character to her when the warden and leliana meet up again.
Not my warden they never even touched him hehe. 
Maybe the spoiler is an outfit indicating some kind of allegiance to something we wouldn't expect? Maybe she became a gray warden?

I like the idea of the showing each other there scars and tell each other how each one was earned.
