"cute as a button" usually refers to women or kids, but I'm not gonna discount the possibility of an adorable young man Scout Leader, either, haha.

It might be the Scout from TF2. He dropped into Thedas via the Breach.

Oghren. Purely because the idea of a dwarf scout leader amuses me.

It could be tho one of the chars we already know about. Or maybe one of the Vo winners. Hope we find out at gamescom.

I really hope not, I despise Oghren. Heck, he even mocked me by joining the Grey Wardens in Awakening after I killed failed to kill him in Origins   I wouldn't mind Sigrun, though. 

 

I think it will be a new character, but if it isn't my mind says it will be Velanna. My reasoning is that the developers considered putting her in Anders' role in Dragon Age 2 and the fact that she would make a good scout (assuming her temper doesn't get the better of her).

I know people are saying 'no', but it could be Dagna.  The loadscreen we saw earlier mentioned "Artificer Dagna" which is a rogue specialty...don't scouts usually come from the rogue ranks?  As we all know, the cute as button fits Dagna to a T.

Doubtful more likely she is doing building and other stuff for the inquestion with a title like that. Special gear, enchantments and so on.

I made an assumption (the assumption being that Velanna was originally planned to be in Anders role, not briefly considered) due to a discussion that was had on these boards in another topic. I went back and edited my original post so as to avoid spreading misinformation, I misspoke and apologize for it.

It makes me happy that some of our Inquisitorial forces have enough definition to be well-liked. Mostly I've been imagining them as faceless and boring or mostly numbers on a screen.

yeah new fleshed out character would be great. I wonder how a scout leader compares to advisors then and if there are any other "departments". Do we have a supply train manager or an in house psychologist ? I can imagine the inquisition can cause some serious stress-related health issues.
