i got the character i want he looks very nice i love him <3 but i can't seem to get the portrait too look nice :/

If you don't know what a portrait is its pretty much this , you might have left it at default ot something

for me the character is only as good as the portrait , i mean its going to be displayed to me throughout the whole game it might as well look good you know.

Can someone help me with this odd problem?

This just seems to be the way. I don't know how to improve so I just make them pull faces :P

Honestly, the portraits don't bother me too much, as I much more care about how the character looks in a cutscene. They look bad there, they get scrapped.

But, I've found the best way to make a good-looking portrait is to zoom in on them a bit by decreasing the distance from the camera (usually to the point where you can see just the top of the character's collar), then move them left/right or up/down to make sure they are centered in the circle. Next, have them look down just a bit (usually one tick on the slider), then try turning them from left to right. Some characters look better straight on, while some look better from a slight profile (I've found the hairstyle to be a big factor in this). After that (assuming you are on the PC), give them a small smile (one tick on the slider). Finally, choose a background that doesn't clash with skin tone or hair color, but make sure it's a color that doesn't hurt your eyes, as you will be seeing it a lot. :)

Uh... I've never had eyes bug out or hair glitch through the forehead on a portrait. Hair may clip occasionally in the game, as long hair and armor rarely play nicely all the time, but I have never had an issue with the portraits.

Have you tried changing your graphics setting? Or maybe a different hairstyle? How big are you making your character's eyes? If they are anime-style big, you might need to shrink them a bit. If nothing works, you may just have to make the best portrait you can and live with it. :(

The Slider's im using is this , the eyes aren't that big but the hair tends to look weird in the portrait (i think it's cause the hair hangs down it bugs a little)

Can you post a screenshot of the portrait (with the sliders) that shows the problems you are describing (eyes bugging out, hair clipping, etc.)? That way I can see the issues and try to figure out a way to help you eliminate them.

I usually bring the "portrait" forward to make it bigger, then make them look up, down etc... until I am happy with the result. I only like the first two face expressions.
