That's very sad news. I always had a laugh watching him in Mrs. Doubtfire. Seems like a lot of great comedians suffer from depression and drug problems, first John Belushi, then Chris Farley, and now him.

He was one of my favorite actors, especially when he did NOT play comedic roles. Insomnia, On Hour Photo, incredible acting.

his daughter Zelda must be taking it pretty hard. i'll pray for her to overcome this harsh loss. the world will be less funny place without him here. he was the greatest comedian ever to grace us with our lives.

Wow...wow...that really took me by surprise. When I was younger Robin was one of my favourite actors and I always thought of him as a great comedian and actor. But just now do I realize how little I knew about this great man, about his struggles with depression and addiction. A sad day indeed, may he rest in peace

It's sad, it happened, and it's a shame. He was a master comedian, artist, and one of the most energetic people I knew. A lot of what he did inspired me among many others.

This is terrible.
He was amazing. A big part of my life growing up and I really thought this would never happen. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

I loved him from when I first saw him as Mork when I was a kid. The world will be a less joyful place without him in it. My heart breaks for his family.
