Though in order to truly replicate ME1's dialogue structure in ME3, we'd also have to break out a lot of the autodialogue into investigate options.

That would actually be kind of nice since a lot of the exposition in ME3 is telling us stuff we already know.

Nah man, it'll pass right through her ;)

If she's lucky.

All the more reason to do it.

It lacks a lack of annoying children for one thing.

Conversely, imagine, say, Tali's ME1 Normandy convos done ME3 style. They'd just be long info dumps, with maybe one choice concerning how Shepard feels about attempted genocide. Actually, I'm not sure what this thought-experiment tells me except that Tali's ME1 convos aren't very good, and I knew that already.

I found the whole "gathering allies to save Earth" thing kinda pointless. It was nice to watch the numbers total up, but the specific assets didn't do anything.

Miranda's bum? A proper ending?

Eh, there was a butt shot or two in there. Seems like that cinematics guy, whoever he was/is, managed to get his (or heck, *her*) jollies again.

Yeah, that was always very irritating. It makes me think that BW didn't take her very seriously as a character (with Hudson even admitting that he wasn't big on her character).

I honestly didn't even notice it when I first played ME2, it was only after it was pointed out that I saw it. But it becomes obnoxious quick once you see it.

I thought it was OK to have the butt shot return in ME3. Might as well make it her trademark. Can't re-shoot ME2.

I don't agree with that sentiment at all. It's just degrading and disrespectful to her and her fans.

This might come across as being very negative, but I find ME3 to be lacking an interesting atmosphere. Which makes it difficult for me to complete the game as I lose interest almost half-way through the game; ME1 had that atmosphere of discovery, going to the citadel and learning about the races for the first time, ME2 had that atmosphere of action and journey which kept me playing for days, you would think ME3's atmosphere would contain the feeling of fighting in a desperate galactic war, unfortunately I do not get that exciting sense of dread of fighting an impossible war. The game does not do well in delivering but the dlcs do well in making up for the lack of atmosphere.

I too find ME3 to be lacking that taste ME 1 & 2 gave me (ME1 was the best).

a raunchy sex scene with Kai Leng and Female Pro Cerberus Shepard while giving someone the finger. Yes my mind is going to dark places and I am liking it.

Well, to find out what this game is missing, you have to find out what this game had.

1.  A great big galactic war.   That started too early.  Hour one was great.  Hour ten was great.  By the time you got to hour twenty five, you were just like, "Yeah yeah, wear on..  Yah, I get it."

2.  Militarism out the wazoo.  Great, you mean I could shoot Admiral Hackett in the face because of my Spectre status (and get away with it) and yet I'm still saluting him and calling him sir?  Wait, what?

Those are my two biggest complaints about ME3.  Personally, I think that number two is one of the reasons why ME2 did so well.  I can't remember Shepard ever saluting anybody.

A decent antagonist.

TIM should have never been a villain to begin with (worse, he was terrible as one), Kai Leng was a joke, and the Reapers suddenly became something akin to a natural force rather than a race of intelligent war machines with their own unique personalities.

I agree with the Doctor 100%. It was rather juvenile that they chose to use such a demeaning portrayal for such a powerful female character for a second time. Eclipsed only by the decision to place a ****** on a robot.

I would rather resources and funding were placed into other areas where the game sadly lacked, IMO little incidental things like a coherent and consistent plot line and use of previous lore. It lacked a script that didn't end with in a way similar to another franchise's inserted, seemingly out of no where, in the final act.

What else did it lack, IMO? Easier answer is what it didn't lack for:- HYPE

Edit:- Interesting to see that the forum settings sensor the phrase for the artwork and design choice I was mocking. If it was so offensive a phrase, then is it not even more offensive to use imagery in game, in the one female voiced character that it appears most ridiculous on?

Miranda's treatment didn't really bother me that much because I always thought of her as male fanservice from the beginning. The only character I see as a realistic portrayal of a strong female character is Shepard. High heels and figure hugging clothes when you're off to fight husks, seriously? Ashley seems to be the only one who actually looks ready for a fight, but even she gets collagen enhanced lips and pristine make-up.

For ME:next my only wish is for a female squadmember with the personality of renegade femshep and who looks like a real soldier. Maybe a few scars too.
