I have an idea that I'm sure lots of people may already thought of, But I'll post it anyway. This game looks like it's coming along rather nicely and it would be a shame to limit it to single player. Im thinking istead of using a storage chest we get a squire to follow us around in camp who stores and maintains our inventory, sattles our horses ect. We send him on journeys and errands that involve raising money, bounty hunting, dragon slaying, assassinations, ripping off nobles, and whatever else we can think of. Of course the squire will be character created for multiplayer use. I'm not talking about open world, I'm thinking revisiting instances the inquisitors have been to...may even revisit the Orzamar arena for some pvp.

I'll give you points for creativity and ingenuity, cause that is honestly a pretty clever idea, but personally it's not the way I would like to see multiplayer implemented.  Kudos though.

I like this idea (and the similar ones I've seen in other MP threads)…. sort of, and a non Quizzy character is the only way I can see MP working.

For me the important bit is to keep SP and MP separate, a ton of people hate the idea of one affecting the other and I think its fair and easy to keep them apart. Say the Keep has a few spare rooms with these characters to hang out in as total background flavour, they don't help the single player game at all.. they are just scenery. But play MP and the rowdy foursome you saw knocking back a few drinks in the kitchen are then your characters for each class type.. Sent on hot zone strike missions by the grand quizzy herself.

MMOs have gone to crap with that BS F2P plan all of them have now. Not nearly as many people are invested in MMOs as they used to be, I think right now it's the perfect time to launch multiplayer games for consoles.

I recently asked Mike Laidlaw about coop being shown at Gamescom and he said IMPROBABLE, but not impossible.

I really want this to happen. Gosh... I would buy the game only to play it MP if was as nice as ME3.

Woah.  You know what this means?  If he really said that, he confirms they HAVE developed co-op!  "Improbable, but not impossible."  If they never made the co-op it WOULD be impossible.

Hells yeah, breh.  I hope it's not co-op through the campaign though.  I could settle for ME3 style co-op if it had just as many playable species.
