really, i get tyrant for executing the guy that blinded my wife?
An eye for an eye, a life for a life. Not a life for an eye.

Mongolia belongs to the Empire now.
Now I just gotta resolve this succession issue and I can get back to beating up the Seljuk remanants and the Fatimids.
I'm sure nothing bad will happen, I'm only 78.
Who were you playing as?
Still playing as Leo Isauros, going on 60..........im thinking of making him immortal ![]()
An eye for an eye, a life for a life. Not a life for an eye.
So you're saying that killing his entire family might be a bit excessive?

Just a bit. Blind and castrate the last surviving male and make him become a monk. Because Mercy is important.

i think i'll blind and castrate the dwarf, make him court dwarf, court jester and court eunuch at the same time ![]()

Brilliant!
You're doing Jeebus' work son.
you know, its kind of hilarious watching Ragnarr Lodbrok tear Charlemagne a new one ![]()

Really?
Ragnarr usually dies at a young age in most of my games. Hell, I'm lucky if Karloman doesn't manage to pop out a kid or three before he dies. I've only seen Karl take on the moniker Charles the Great ONCE in all of my games.

Ragnar is 47 in my game, he's close to forming Scandinavia and he can reform the Germanic religion if he wants to, Karl is 72 and controls all of western Europe

Why does this never happen in my games? ![]()
Hell, in my current nomad (Karlukid) game the Abbassid's lost control of the caliphate and had their realm split into three different groups.

lol in my game the Abbasids are barely relevant, they hold Arabia and nothing else, still being my ally ensures their survival
okay, question - should i, in an attempt to recreate my favorite game from a few months ago, use the imperial war machine to help the Gwynedds split the HRE in two and create Germania?

here we go, 825

most of the major players are pretty old, im 75, Karl is 83, Ragnarr is 59, Abd-al-Rahman Umayyad is 78 and Al-Mahdi Abbasid is 90, only Empress Morien of Germania is 16
i've decided that whoever of those guys makes it to 830 gets to become immortal
oh, and the Pope just declared war on me, he holds Normandy and has the amazing 1800 soldiers ![]()

Has anyone seen this mod for CK2?
I have yet to play it, but it looks pretty cool. Now if only someone could mod in WH40K.
I wouldn't waste time with petty diplomacy. As a gene stealer cult, I would merely welcome new converts to my fellowship, and together we will welcome the approaching deliverance of the Hive Fleet.
The Roman Province of Mongolia is doing fine.
Just like my Indian provinces.
I kind of wish I would stop asking for tales of the mythical land of Hindustan now...
Previous Emperor died at 82. His great grandaugther Theodora ended up out murdering her relatives to take the throne.
I'm told some families don't have these issues. That must be nice.

I'm temped to start a new CK2 game and abuse the heck out of the command console for hilarious results. Maybe start out as a small, single county lord and then console command a dozen or so random mayors spread out across the globe to be immortal geniuses with 50's for all attributes. Just to see how that affects the course of things.
I tend to give the major AI players big boosts at the start. 10,000 Gold, 1,000 prestige and piety, and 10,000 techpoints for every King or Emperor tier ruler who looks fun.
If I REALLY want things to get interesting I'll console random strong claims to people. Because Poland needs to rule Arabia, Boleslaw Piast totally has strong claims there...

Giving the powerful more power leads to fun results. Like watching a three year old try and color a map with all different borders and nations that pop into existence.
Some of the craziest things have happened without any intervention from me at all.
One time the Abbasaids lost the Caliphate, ended up in France, converted, and 300 years later ruled the Empire of Francia as Occitan Cathars.
