Hello

What's crackin'?!

This was made for people such as yourself:
Resource Library
And, it's the first thread in this part of the forums; convenience is one hell of a drug! Take a look in there, I'm pretty sure it'll have it covered.

So ... is it MasterReefa I'm looking for rather than IamBECkY? There seems to be an IamBecky account but it appears to have been dormant for years.

Rolan they are only being nice to you because you are new and asking polite questions.  In a week you will be like the rest of us trying to strangle each other on a regular basis due to some conversation about a gun or talent.

Yeah, but the better we educate him/her/it, the faster it will reach that point.

At this rate, I'm thinking we can have him on b00g13's list by Friday.

مرحبا بكم على متن!

Don't know if this has been mentioned (because I'm too lazy to check) but about the husk thing: yeah, kiting them far away and running to the device is good - it takes 10 seconds to get the device, so if it took you over 10 seconds to run to it it'll take the husks longer to get there, too.

One other thing is having passive stun powers - annihilation field, the destroyer's rockets, Asari justicar bubble, carious turrets/drones will all stun a husk (and most other sneaky enemies) for a few precious milliseconds.

The important thing is not to panic. Again, it takes 10 seconds to get the device, so if you still have 2 minutes left you don't need to rush, and you can always stop and run away for a bit.

That said, there are some device positions that are truly hellish. And sometimes the @#$%^ bad guys like to camp them. So there is a bit of luck involved.

Fixed.

And if you'd bother to read a few posts below the initial one you would have noticed that I've found my way over there. There's just a lot of info there, apologies for missing out the important stuff I wanted to know.

It can be tempting to kill enemies near the device but they will just respawn anyway and probably close by .

It is a common mistake to try and clear the area around the device so you can get to it because the enemies will just keep coming.

Go straight to a device if it looks clear and try and get it done asap but be ready to abandon it and kite if needed

I see you've found the ME3 MP Resource Library in this forum. That is definitely the place to start.  A wealth of information for you that you will find very helpful.  And welcome to Multiplayer!

The library can be somewhat overwhelming. Work through the new player guides a bit then touch on some stuff your curious about every now and then and it won't be such a task. Any questions are always welcome though as it can be difficult to sort through a lot of the stuff.

Cyonan, peddro, corlist, tyhw, etc cover a lot of mechanics topics that are interesting but might be a little much sometimes to sort through because lolMATHNUMBERS.

Anything build/power I'm sure there would be around a thousand different opinions on.

Google N7SPECOPS and check out Invaderone's Youtube videos.  Very instructive on kit builds and how to play specific kits and just in general.
