I figured I'd remake my character so I'd be ready for the expansion, but every time I try to run the game, I get the error message:
"Registration of the trophy information could not be completed. Game will now quit. (80022D11)"
Does ayone know what to do about this?
Game refuses to start due to trophies.

I'm having a similar problem. Game still works but after reformatting, due to some glitches, i am lacking some trophies. Haven't solved it yet but working on it.

Its not a matter of losing trophies, its a matter of due to the trophy registration thing, the game quits before I even get to the title screen. Is this a new problem? or do people have an idea o how to fix it (Including options that blank/disable my trophies, I don't really care about them.)

I am confused, did you delete your game data? or just the character data? all of it? I am on my 5th playthrough and have had no issues. just started a new character, since each character gets their own memory space. and can switch between them using the square button at the load save game screen.

I just had this same problem today. Never seen it before. The PS3 also keeps signing me out when I try going online, so I dunno if that is a related problem.

Having the same issue right now. Ugh! Was gone all weekend and was so looking forward to playing. Perhaps a problem with the PS3 network? I've verified that all connections on my side are working...
Edited to add: I cannot sign into my PS3 account.

There must be some way to blame this on BioWare.
j/k
PSN does this from time to time. Experienced it at least twice before.
Guess I'll play something else off-line as I like to stay attached to the servers for DAO.

Huh. I haven't had my PS3 connected to the internet in a few weeks, so it's a little irksome that I can't play a game that I own because of some odd network error.

How long do things like this normally take to repair?

It's a sad day when trophies, something secondary to the main campaign, prevent a player from simply PLAYING the game. First time I've ever been stopped by the game itself and not a hardware problem. I got this prob today too. I suppose it's a good thing I'm not the only one hitting this wall.

I'm having the same problem and I never have my PS3 connected to the internet unless I'm getting DLC. I'm glad it's not just me. I was worried I'd have to get my system repaired again.

Well, I'm glad to know its not just me. I was about to start freaking out. Of course, now I can't even get online to get an IP address. Is that PSN too?

I think I must be Sony. I tried to play Dante's Inferno and got the same error. It might have somthing to do with it being the end of Feb. going int March..... I hope.

I’m perplexed that a problem connecting to the PlayStation Network should affect a standalone game. Is there no way for Bioware to code around this kind of bad design?

Everyone:
This link will take you to a topic post on the MAG forums. It contains the most up-to-date information that I'm aware of, and it looks like it will continue to be updated. Suffice to say, the issue is *major* in nature. See for yourselves:

P.S. I haven't had my PS3 online since Saturday evening and, after reading the linked thread, I sure as hell am not going to be activating it anytime soon!

Yeah, my system was reset - thought it was something I had done at first. Terrific. I got all that fixed at least, and I can grab an IP and what not too. Oh well, guess we'll have to wait and see. Looks like I'm not finishing my game tonight after all.

I went to that site; my comfort level is very low right now........ I went to the psn site and got an 'under construction' notice.

So, there isn't any kind of fix or workaround, just wait for whatever it is to get sorted out?
Quite strange, though, that it's affecting even those of us who don't have our PS3s connected to the internet. The last time I hooked mine up was, I think, Wednesday, to check for some new DLC.
