Wait for whatever solution Sony's going to come up with, in the next 24 hours. I'm going into Alistair withdrawal here, seriously.
Game refuses to start due to trophies.

Apparently, there is a temporary solution to do with the PS3 battery...but I'm staying clear of it. Think its safer to just be patient lol...

the battery fix isnt nearly as simple as people are making it out to be, it involves stripping the whole ps3 down. I will definitely just be waiting this one out.

Yup, I'll be waiting for the official fix from Sony as well. I haven't seen my Zev in 3 days and am getting twitchy...lol

lol, yeah its funny cause just saturday night i set up the bioware account, and didnt get a chance to play anymore Dragon Age until sunday night. I immeadiatly attributed the error to setting up the bioware account since i hadn't done anything, including play anything else since setting up the page. lol, glad i hit these forums before i hunted down some tech supporters, lol

Well glad to see this is not just my PS3 right now. I hope it doesn’t end up affecting anything important.

It feels like I've been waiting forever to actually buy this game and now I'm getting the same trophy message as the rest of you. I haven't even been able to start the stupid game yet! Grrrrrrrr! Our Netflix disc isn't connecting either. And this has been going on for how long?! The Netflix disc was working as of last week, but not anymore. Thank you Playstation/Sony.

WTF? Played last night no problem...went to play today and could not for this same reason.
So if its a PSN only issue how come my trophies for TFU and others are still there but not DA:O?

You should try after date change in your country , it seems that going to 2/3 fixes the issue automatically.

Interestingly, a lot of people are now reporting that as of midnight GMT (about 15 minutes ago), the problem seems to have disappeared, making games playable and trophies syncable once again! This is from Joystiq.
Interesting that the problem would kick in just as the clock turned over from February 28th and then last exactly 24 hours before going away on its own... how many facepalms is that worth?! PWNT. I'm not going to try running anything until I read it from Sony, though, just in case.

Hmmm, looks like it's on its way to being fixed. Instead of 12/31 and wrong time, it now shows 2/28 with correct time. I'm going to hold off playing until either the date is fixed or they let us know it's safe to do so. It is taking every ounce of willpower to not play because it looks like the game will load for me now.

You have to set your date/time preferences to auto-update date/time using internet. Doing this solved the time issue for me.

Well thanks to the copyright some games have when you try to backup or save a file onto a USB drive, I LOST ALL of my Dragon Age Origins files from this crap with SONY. SO, not only has my PS3 crashed because of an internal clock error, i lost 60 hours to Dragon Age. I am done with this game unless they can remove the copyright so I can back up files.

The system is back up and running, but does anyone else have the date at 4/28 now? Not sure if it is safe to use.

i think the new ps3 slim is the one most affecting this problem. because mine is 80 gb ps3 and the old ps3. but no problem, working smoothly and fine.

to people who lost trophy information try syncing your trophy, and for date and time fix just update through internet.... everything is fine so far, i have an old launch 60 gb ps3... but i'm still afraid to play any game right now..
