Ugh. If they're not able to use the Pathfinder rules (D20 OGL) then it's not really Pathfinder. And I really can't see Wizards letting the spectre of 3rd edition continue to show up their less than well received later editions. Unless WotC are really desperate for money.

I don't know that Hasbro has a choice. The OGL is irrevocable, can be used for computer games, and other computer games have used it, such as Knights of the Chalice and Chaos Chronicles.

Apparently it's a card game.

latest rumors are that it ain't a single game, but two different ones - apparantly a crpg and a card game.

And Neverwinter was supposed to be a 4-6 person co-op RPG with a full toolset.

"Just like Pathfinder Online will not be d20 based, neither will Obsidian Entertainment’s Pathfinder, and they are both perfectly legal to exist."

The bit in that quote about the legality irritates me. The d20 license is not the same thing as the OGL, and the author of that article doesn't seem to know the difference. They could use the Pathfinder setting and the OGL rules for their computer game.
