Time to consider gaming snacks, comfort food and all manner of tasty stuff :P. Here is a recipe for, (drum roll) Mountain Dew Doritos cupcakes!

For cupcakes:

– 1 box of lemon cake mix
– 1 box of lemon pudding mix
– 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
– 1 1/4 cups of Mountain Dew
– 4 eggs

Mix all the ingredients, then fill each cupcake tray about 3/4 of the way up. Bake at 350 degrees for 16 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean without batter sticking to it.

For frosting:

– 4 cups powdered sugar
– 1/4 cup room temp butter
– 8 oz of cream cheese
– 2 teaspoons of lemon zest
– 3 oz of Mountain Dew
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– A few drops of electric green food coloring
– 1 bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos (for garnishing)

Mix all the ingredients (except the Doritos) together until smooth

Decorate and enjoy......

Peanut butter and bacon sandwich, sometimes with bananas. I like this with whole grain bread, thick cut apple smoked bacon and Skippy peanut butter.

Question: Is there anything that would really taste bad with bacon?

I was gonna say chocolate, but thats wrong

Then I was gonna say avocado, but thats also wrong

Given how different they are, says a lot about bacon's versatility

Chocolate and black licorice seasoned grilled chicken sounds absolutely delicious, so if anyone gets that chance, try that for me and tell me the results.

I will dig up my chocolate chip pumpkin cake recipe sometime. Best served chilled or hot, not cold or room temp.

I don't like liver, and liver wrapped in bacon doesn't make up for it for me to stomach it.

I have a Snickers cake recipe, here you go, enjoy your diabetes:

Marshmallows cream for inside:

  • 150 gramms of marshmallows
  • 2 egg white
  • 85 gramms syrup (or honey)

Mix the marshmallows and syrup/honey while heating them up, beat the egg white into solid foam and add them while stirring.

Zhe caek:

1st chocolat layer:

  • 50 gramms of chocolate
  • 1 big spoonfull of Nutella

the sticky layer:

  • 80 gramms of sugar
  • 80 gramms of honey
  • 50 gramms of condensed milk
  • 50 gramms of butter
  • the marshmallow cream
  • 2 spoonfulls of Nutella

caramell layer:

  • 150 gramms of sugar
  • 1 spoonfull of honey
  • 1 decilitre of cream milk
  • 80 gramms of butter
  • 150 gramms of peanut

2nd chocolate layer (same as 1st one):

  • 50 gramms of chocolate
  • 1 big spoonfull of Nutella

Go from layer to layer.

1st. chocolate layer: Melt the chocolate and the Nutella together, smear it on the bottom in a cake form, put it in the fridge.

Sticky layer: Mix the honey, sugar and condensed milk on heat, put out the flames, then add the butter and Nutella after. Lastly, mix it with the marshmallows cream. Smear it gently on to of the 1st layer.

Caramell layer: Heat the cream milk. Caramelize the sugar and honey, when it's fabulous, add the cream milk slowly, then the butter. Heat it up for a minute or two, then add the peanuts. Smear it on top of the sticky layer. Put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.

2nd chocolate layer is the same as the 1st.

Let the cake rest in the fridge for 5+ hours, meanwhile consult with your doctor if it's safe for you to eat that sugary monster.

A simple but delicious Hors d'oeuvre

30+ golden new potatoes (the little ones)
one pound thinly sliced bacon
30+ toothpicks

Clean, but do not peel the potatoes
Preheat an oven to 400 F (200C)

Cut the bacon strips in half. wrap each potatoe with bacon. Secure with a toothpick. Bake in the oven in a baking dish for 40-50 minutes or until done.

Remove from dish. Drain on paper towels.

Enjoy!

NB: These are not on any official weight loss diet. Nor will they ever be.

Holy ****, I'm making the Snickers cake for a birthday tomorrow. I doubled the dose because we freeze cakes for later to surprise relatives.

That thing.

It scares me.

Pics will be up tomorrow if I live to tell the tale. 560 gr of pure sugar and almost a bottle of Nutella.

What have I done.

Edit: BEHOLD, DIABETES MADE MANIFEST

Spoiler

For people in diets/body-building

Really simple protein chocolate moose.

Chocolate Protein Powder (scoops to fill your macros, so however much you'd like.)

Peanut Butter (make sure it's either organic or AT LEAST over 90% Peanut Butter, you don't want crap. Again, as much as you want to fit your macros)

One teaspoon of Organic Coco Powder.

Four teaspoons Stevia/Canderal (though I'd go for Stevia if you can afford it.)

Add either water or milk, just a little so you can get the right consistency. Better add it a bit at a time.

Once you have that, mix it up so you get a nice thick sludge. Even if it's not as thick as you'd like, don't worry.

Put it in the fridge/freezer.

Take it out.

Voila.

You have a high protein, high fat, low carb snack (or meal depending on how much you put in) for your 4-6 meals a day.

It's good for when you're cutting because cutting is just the worst thing in the frakcing world.

If I'm going to prepare and cook food, it has to be a meal I'm afraid. I do wish I had the time to make my own snacks. Corn chips w/ melted cheese, soured cream and jalapenos will do for now.

When I make stuff at home to snack on, it's usually quick to make and healthier than when I buy chips and coke.

So it'll be something boring like cheese and crackers, or carrots with ranch.

Not really a recipe, but when I make tomato soup I like to add some italian seasoned croutons and and cube (a little bit smaller than the croutons) some swiss and cheddar cheese. And just add the cheese and let it get melty and mix with the croutons and soup. Tastes pretty good and is better than just plain tomato soup IMO.

^if you're cooking it in a pan, what I do is add grated cheese whilst it's cooking to melt it in, plus fresh cream, and some fresh basil.

I'll have to try that next time I make some.
