Doesn't mean the main game doesn't. Keep brings in the world state and then you customise your Inquisitor and then Hawke and the Warden perhaps. I don't know. But I shall remain ever hopeful.

Well.. Let the headcanon begin.. 

 

1. The part of the video is narrated by a man with deep voice. I guess that dude is the bad guy of the series.

2. 0:53 "You are a mistake, you should never have existed" I don't think it is the same voice as before. I have an idea, but I'll say it after the 3rd point.

3. Morrigan and the Inquisitor being blown away.

4. Two dragons fighting each other.

5. Then come in Hawke and a warden. Is it the Warden commander? Maybe.

 

Alright all said and done. Let's review and start the headcanon.

 

1. As said before, I strongly believe(if not obvious) that guy is the bad guy. He refer himself as the new god. Morrigan mentioned that her baby will have the power of the old god and she's back in the series. Coincidence? I think not. I would like to believe that the bad guy is in fact her son. Why? on to the second point.

2. I would like to believe this is the voice of the male warden commander. Lamenting the fact the child (Morrigan and him or Alistair) had become a new threat to Thedas. I mean, you should have never existed. It almost feels the man behind the voice could have prevented the existence of the new god.

3. That could be the new god, Morrigan's child. She's is confronting him. At the very least, his minion.

4. This could be the work of the architect. The architect could have succeeded in freeing the darkspawn god from the taint. Thus aiding the inquisition. OR. Morrigan had twin. One fight for good and one became the new god. Like good and evil.

5. Yep. I think that's the warden commander.

 

Lol. So yeah, that's my headcanon. One flaw to my theories though.. The choices.. If the player didn't perform the dark ritual.. Most of the story would be gone, completely.. Then again.. I killed Leliana during the sacred ashes.. And here she is..

I imagine the dragon that swoops in to the rescue is Flemeth. Or is under the control of Flemeth. Or Morrigan. Or is Morrigan.

 

Can't be the OGB though, given this is an US import they're using for their world-state.

So much juicy stuff there. Warden/Hawke return is fantastic...doesn't matter at all to me if they're default characters. Dragons battling each other really fires me up ( Flemeth/Morrigan?) OGB return pretty much confirmed with Morrigan and Warden presence.

By all appearances this is the follow-up to DAO we had all hoped for.

Could just be a territorial squabble. Note that the Dragons seem to be classified into different breeds now. The one we fought was a Fereldan Frostback, but that doesn't mean the one we fought is the only one of its kind. I forget how many Dragons are in the game.

When I seen the trailer I bounced around my living room like a mad woman before and after watching it. It has so much!! Cole speaks! I was a little sad we didn't hear Solas talk. But we got to see him that all that matters right now. 

 

But the one thing that really got my attention was the demon/monster with four or six arms. It reminded me of the alien monster from The Thing. It was awesome.

because when the inquisition raided the wardens in one of the previous trailers, we looted their armor... and u know u gotta sell that sh*t for better stuff.  Plus i bet it was gorim who sold him some dwarven crafts, fine dwarven crafts

I was aware that it wasn't the warden, but it being a random guard captain in warden armor seems odd.

 

Personally I'm subscribing to the theory that it's the orlesian warden from awakening, given that Bioware's default warden did the ultimate sacrifice.
