I was aware that it wasn't the warden, but it being a random guard captain in warden armor seems odd.
Personally I'm subscribing to the theory that it's the orlesian warden from awakening, given that Bioware's default warden did the ultimate sacrifice.

After going over the clip again, I noticed that its a 'collection' of quest clips and voice-overs.

Flemmeth, dragon form, fighting off another blight (archdemon) dragon.
While some of the voice-overs do go together, the majority are from a veriety of different missions.
I think there is even a shot of Knight Commander Meredith.

The is no Flemeth or Meredith in the Trailer...
The Place where you see the former is confirmed not to be Flemeth (and her Dragon Form looks vastly different anyways). It's the Fereldan Frostback. You can see a Shot of it being "tamed" earlier in the Trailer.
The latter is dead and not a Mage. What you see is just some Mage in rather spiky Equipment, casting a Spell.
It is also just "a" Warden and confirmed not ti be "the" Warden, but I say that just to make sure. I believe, that you knew that already.
