So uh, Shadow Realms doesn't have it's own forums, but I just needed to get this off my chest. It is basically Fable Legends meets The Secret World? No thanks. if it had a Single player campaign as good as ME or DA it'd be interested.

If that being of light is Andrastre then Bioware have flat out lied previously, because if we have to become the Herald of Andrastre or something similar how the heck can we 'doubt' or oppose the biggest mortal evil in Thedas? The chantry.  Seriously every time we have contact with them or their ideology it is either incompetent or actively malevolent, leading me to believe it's obfuscating stupidity.

 

You can doubt the Chantry 'cause the Chantry is not Andraste herself - that is an organization filled with various types, many of them non-believers too that use or misuse teachings of Andraste, very often by perverted interpretations - knowing that Andraste is doesn't prove Chantry right. Anyway, just remember your conversation with Anders in fron of Vigil's Keep in DA:O - and yes, I've seen The Ashes and seen their miracle on Arl - and I still don't like Chantry nor do I like their philosophy .

You can save import on the last gen consoles Dragon Age keep was created for the sole purpose of creating world states for the new gen/current gen consoles. They even tried experimenting with the idea of implementing importing old save files into DA Keep from last gen files.

There is no save game importer, for any platform, other than the Keep. the devs have said that they had to choose between a traditional import or the keep and chose the keep because it would be more useful to more people for longer. if you played DA:O & DA2 on 360 ps3 or pc and are playing DAI on the same platform you will still need to use the keep to create world states for import.

The only chantry Philosophy that I completely disagree with is their need to "spread" it does not allow for peaceful co-existence with other religions.

I really hope the Big Bad isn't another ****** dragon.

To be fair the villain has only been a dragon in 1 game out of 2.5 games so far.

Also you might be playing the wrong franchise if dragon enemies annoy you.

The scene where..inquistor vs inquisitor fights..and the talk where u heard that voice at start....

 

IT reminds me of prince of persia game..two thrones , where inside prince is his dark side or smth...would be cool if depend on your choices u can in the end go with that other voice guy

I guess I'd just prefer a nuanced or relatable villain rather than another ****** dragon. But, I'm still excited. 

 

Could be a shape-shifter like Flemeth. In any case the Archdemon from Origins isn't relatable but is absolutely steeped in lore that might not be evident at first. *If* this dragon is a non-tainted Old God, then that's a pretty huge deal in the big picture of the DA verse.

Exactly. It's like saying that a follower of Jesus' teachings can't doubt or oppose the Catholic church. Jesus didn't start the Catholic church so who say he would like the way they do things.

They haven't shown much of it but I am sure there are other groups worshiping the Maker and Andraste and not being part of the Chantry. We saw one such groups when we searched for the ashes in DA:O. But since this is a medieval sort of times they would be small secret groups since the Chantry have a fondness of exalting their asses.

A potentially clever way to customize Hawke/Warden's personality would be to define it in talks with Leliana and Varric.
 
So the topic of the Warden comes up and you ask Leliana what was he really like? She asks, well what have you heard? And then you can pick some wheel choices to sculpt a general feel for the personality. Obviously this would be more effective for Hawke than the Warden, since DA2 was more based in having a dominant tone than DAO. It's not perfect, but since I doubt they'll let us pick Hawke/Warden's dialogue it might be the next best thing, and definitely better than just having one generic "personality" for each. That is, assuming there's no Keep choices for things like that.

I like this idea. Reminds me of ME2 when Miranda asks Shepard whose humanity's representative on the council.
