That trailer was so spoilery for me, though! I had to mute and skip a whole lot of it. I think this is the time that I stick to the Dorian thread and leave everywhere else... that trailer had sooooo much hinting/possibilities!

 

I kind of agree, think I'm just going to stick to the twitter thread from now on, once finding BSN I don't think I can just drop it.

No.

At most , you will be able to select their gender (and race for the Warden).

You're not playing as Hawke or the Warden. You'll create and customize the look of your NEW protagonist, the Inquisitor.

This is not Origins 2 or DA2.1. It's a NEW game! Inquisition. Savvy?

Hawke and the Warden will most likely only make brief appearances anyway.

Well colour me confused! I thought we'd be playing the entire game switching between the Warden and Hawke!! Heck, maybe both at the same time as the dynamic duo and have a threesome with Leilana. But, no you say? We're playing as this "Inquisitor" who the hell is that!? BioWare has never EVER mentioned that before, my day is ruined!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I'm not playing as Warden/Hawke Sherlock (BioWare has mentioned this a few times by now) and I don't want too play as them again, I want someone new, I like having a different protagonist each time, Savy?

Yeah. BSN is fabulous but when it gets to about this time before release I go quiet. Too much info.

Hmm the inquestior reaching for a fade spirit that is nothing but pure energy and the e,der one pretending to be him oh boy we are in trouble. Given some of the other things mentioned in the demo.

In the Gamescom Demo that I've linked to in the OP, not in the trailer itself, several characters refer to the Inquisitor as "Hereld of Andraste." Notably the main Avvar bad guy.

The two big barbarian guys we hear speak both refer to the Inquisitor as the "Herald of Andraste".

Also, I haven't read much about what we learned, just watched  the new trailer several times.  Seems like we get to train a dragon to protect and help us?  Huh,cool. So much to learn in such little time before work!!

Misleading us into believing that they brought back the Warden alongside Hawke from the previous games for the sake of hyping us up beyong imagining, only to later tweet about it not being the Warden at all.

I love how Solas is helping the Inquisitor close the rift. Holding their hand up and all. It's a really nice, subtle touch.
