Did the dragon doing the helping not look a lot like the Fereldan Frostback they were fighting in the previous trailer?

In the Gamescom Demo that I've linked to in the OP, not in the trailer itself, several characters refer to the Inquisitor as "Hereld of Andraste." Notably the main Avvar bad guy.
I stand corrected ![]()

Warden and Hawke.
We better get a say in how they look. At least gender and skin tone.
They just make a huge reveal, bringing back our characters from the previous 2 games...
And 10 posts into the thread, people are already complaining.
Oh, boy. I can't blame Casey for quitting considering how many fans like this Bioware has.

If anyone other than Flemeth can it's Morrigan.
I'd put my money on Morrigan's child.
Since, you know. He has the soul of an Old God.

I was on the official website, and I noticed that in the section "characters" there are two spaces not filled … after today’s trailer… how about this scenario?

Could Just be Left over space, could be something important. the only way we're going to find out is if Bioware tell us. Which I doubt they will.

well i wouldnt be shocked if dlc came trundling down the road that introduces more companions, old ones or entirely new ones but i doubt that we would use hawke or warden as companions as they are to tied into story. Should also be noted that the pic showing a grey warden and hawke can simply be the default setting s within default settings and no stored history that hawke survives and warden dies.
The keep could change who is there.

It's probably best to calm the assumptions about seeing the Warden since (s)he is not yet confirmed to be in the game. Only Hawke was confirmed.

I paused the trailer here to try and see who they were and when I realized it was Hawke (and who I thought was the warden) and my reaction was "wait...WHAT?!
" the warden will probably be killed offscreen due to VA issues "the hero of Ferelden? She died of the taint like 6 months ago" and Hawke will probably die fighting that monster thing in the game intro to give a reason for a new hero to rise.

If further DLC has companions, they would be temporary ones a la Tallis. It's infinitely harder to patch in a new companion for the whole game after release, and they've explicitly stated there will be no Day 1 companion DLC.

Of course it's not The Warden. He's still too cool for Inquisition and he's god-like by the end of Awakening. Having him in Inquisition wouldn't be fair for the Fade Rift and he's probably in some important expedition fighting the last old god in the deep roads. The problems on the surface are first world problems as far as he's concerned.

I argued against this possibility the whole time, of course I will hate that it's in the game.

I guessed Blur Studio no longer doing cinematic game trailers? I mean Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2 cinematic trailer was fantastic.

I think the trailer is AMAZING, have watched it a "few" times...gives me chills every time I do.
I am very curious about the dragon that attacks the "Elder One"...
Also very glad to see Hawke, loved my Hawke, can't wait to see her again in game.

I wouldn't quite call it complaining. Just a very strange mix of optimism and pessimism. I can certainly understand where they're coming from as I feel strongly attached to my Wardens and my Hawkes, and want to see them done well.

and yay for hawke . tho didn't think it was the warden considering bios canon was an elf who sacrificed himself, so he wouldn't be showing up in the trailer

Why do i feel like the only reason they are bringing back Hawke is to kill her?
