Well, the Elder One sure sounds like a Greater Pride Demon.

well, there was the giant tentacle dragon worm like thing hawke, the warden and the inquisitor were staring at, there was the dragon that was on screen during the voice over for the bad guy (may not have been dragon talking though). Im more curious about the glowey eyes inquisitor strangling my inquisitor.... dub him shadow inquisitor.... kinda like shadow link.... i dunno, we also have no idea who the evil looking mage guy with the dalish face paint was. you know what, im going with that there is no main villain, but a democratic parliment of villains. all elected by a community of villains to represent their ideals in destroying the world....
off topic, but dorian looks smashing in red.

In the beginning of the trailer, the green lite figure, a demon? Let me just walk right over here and watch the trailer one more time.

The Elder One is Voltaire. "If the Maker didn't exist, it would be necessary to invent him". He's trying to do us a favour, really, although the "despair" thing may not sound very convincing.
Kidding aside, I have to say that I like the idea of having a central villain for DA:I. A villain that at least can keep a conversation, not like our old friend the Archdemon, who was just a big bad dragon. In fact, even better if he has something personal against our protaognist. The line "you are a mistake" doesn't sound like gloating. More like "WTF? Don't you dare derail my plan!".
Also getting Fire Emblem: Awakening vibes from that kind of super-dragon monster god of despair, cult of crazy mage minions and
I think its a spirit (or an elven god). So far all the spirits we've seen tend to glow if they manifested thier powers, ala wynne and anders.

Nice finding! But what if the glowing green figure at the beginning is not the Elder One, but a spirit trying to help us? One of the theories about the Inquisitor is that he/she will be an abomination.

So they showed of a creature looking like a combination of the divine and a spirit. Interesting.
And an elf (according to the tatoo on his face) that strikes down both Morrigan and the inq after Morrigan has exited an eluvian right next to the pool of water. The elf then seems to attempt to open a second portal, this time using the water. Does this strengthen the theory that the elves have some connection to the elder one? (fen'harel perhaps?http://forum.bioware.../#entry16437232)
New types of dragons with the green one looking fairly similar to the design Bioware have showcased for the archdemons. Could it be one?
A short sequence of the inq interacting with what looks like a "normal" dragon (some blue link between them).
Hawke, the warden and the inq side by side standing before a huge spider looking demon. At the final battle in each of the two previous games iconic characters have joined us, might this be similar or will they play a more important role throughout the game?
Then a normal looking dragon fighting a red dragon. Protecting us, aiding us or simply marking its territory? The interesting thing is that in the shot right after the red dragon appears to be green all of a sudden, is this a different dragon perhaps?
Bioware gave us a lot of pieces to analyze...
Can't wait till november.

Is it just me, or does the Elder One sound like Benedict Cumberbatch?

I have a theory. There is a woman standing behind the guy with elven tattoos that I am pretty sure is Morrigan. What is that man is the child of Morrigan and an elven Grey Warden? The way she was standing there wasn't exactly the stance of supporting mother. You know, if she IS his mother.
