I don't know if it's just me, but in the shots where she's in that outfit, doesn't it look like a play is being put on? Ever since the "Lead them or Fall" trailer, for some reason I was imagining that there will be a play in the game, detailing the heroics of your Warden character. Haha, my imagination is running off in a direction and extrapolation, but maybe she's wearing her old clothes so she can sneak in to the play?
Seriously Morrigan...the exact same outfit?

*shrugs*
I'm just glad to see her in them again. She always had a lovely attire.

I'm okay with it. I feel like it's a nod towards players who played DA:O, and is supposed make her look recognizable (as if anyone could ever forget her
).

I can only laugh at this thread. People complain that she is wearing the same outfit yet if they did change her outfit people would complain about that not being Morrigan's signature look. They showed Morrigan in her ball dress and people did nothing but ******...about her character design and everything else......just be happy she is in the game..honestly her being in the same attire doesnt ruin the game/story immersion for me..I, personally, dont get that technical about such thing,,but hey..others do I suppose.....still ..the game looks great..I'm excited for Nov.

Morrigan could be covered head to toe in a thousand layers of fur and I'd just be happy she's back. ![]()

Call it an iconic look or whatever you want, it's still lazy and disappointing to me. The character is what people remember, not her outfit, and it's more of a let-down when people that are fans of her character wanted to see her with a different design because they enjoy her so much.
I understand the "reasoning," but don't agree with it.

Eh, its her iconic look, so I'm fine with it even if it would be cool to see her in something akin to her Sacred Ashes outfit. It actually would be neat if companions had various weather versions of their outfits- go to a cold locale and they're more covered up with some fur, or go to a warmer locale and they're wearing lighter clothes.
My bigger issue is Morrigan's plastic emo hair that's covering up half her face and how her robes look hot pink. The hair just really looks worse than Origins.

People absolutely remember the outfit. Some cosplayers will wear her get up without trying to change their appearances beyond that and people already know they're dressed as Morrigan.
Morrigan's attire is very likely Dragon Age's most notable articles of clothing.

It is kinda funny for someone to wear the same outfit for 10 years though. Iconic!!

What you didn't like Morrigan in that wilds outfit I did and (so did many others i'm sure) and kept her in that outfit throughout the game, if thats Morrigan's combat dress then yahoo!

I did. I took her out of it in DAO before and it just felt wrong. She always ended up keeping it as it was "her" look that no one could match.

I don't remember anyone complaining about Morrigan's ball dress. People were geeking over the fact she took Leliana's dress advice from ages ago. And the fact that they released that cosplay guide for it.
The only thing people complained about that I remember (and I was one of those people) was how she looked like a bobblehead in said dress.

As another poster said a page or two back (I'm lazy and don't want to go back to quote): You know we're running out of reasons to complain when MORRIGAN'S BATTLE OUTFIT is what folks are mad about.
Sillies. Did it really not occur to folks that maybe that outfit is specifically made and enchanted for her to change shape with her? Blend into fur or feathers or scales so she doesn't have to make a new outfit every time she magic-shape-shifts? So it's what she wears when she's out to kick some butt and chew bubblegum? It's really not that much of a stretch to think "Morrigan Iconic look? Battle Armor she doesn't wear much these days and has been well cared for in case battle arises!"
*hands everyone a cup of tea/coffee and a cookie* It's okay, breath.

Morrigan's attire is very likely Dragon Age's most notable articles of clothing.
It´s all a plan by BW´s male developers to see girls in skimpy clothing during conventions.
And I can´t help thinking Morrigan´s wardrobe looks like Schwarzenegger´s in Last Action Hero.

It's called an iconic look. Intriguing puzzle to crack, I'm sure, but there it is laid out on the table for ya.
I don´t think anybody would be complaining if you had updated the model to something different but still recognizable.

The real question is: How did she acquire it after the events of DAO if it (inc. Robes of Possession) was sold or destroyed? ![]()
The same-outfit thingy ain't that weird. Look at how long Varric wore the exact same outfit.

There absolutely would be people complaining. People always do no matter what. Different strokes, different folks.
