Would Morrigan care about what people thought of her clothing? I don't think so!
Seriously Morrigan...the exact same outfit?

Right. She obviously couldn't have worn other outfits at all between DAO and DAI. The only logical conclusion is that she has only ever worn that outfit. Ever. /s

She would give a total amount of dark rituals equal to the result of seven subtracted from seven

I should know. I've been in my fair share of silly topics.

Difference is Morrigan's not a party member this time, and chances are the majority kept Morrigan in her original outfit, or the updated one with better stats.

FTW.

The people who have the nerve to call using an iconic look "lazy" are the biggest ****** morons I have ever seen in my life; seriously, if this is you, then you're an idiot. I'm not pulling punches. This isn't a re-used model, this isn't taking something from another game and putting it in this one--it's a brand new model that uses a classic look that is heavily attatched to the character of Morrigan. Zack Synder kept Superman's suit in Man of Steel red AND blue? Can you believe it? Not only that, but he kept the shield too! How dare he be so LAZY. So lazy as to re-use an iconic general design--while taking some liberties--to show respect to the character and it's original concept. BioWare, you so lazy with your three ****** years of trying to make-up for Dragon Age 2 and EA's terrible mishandeling of the franchise and of your talents. You so lazy for bringing back all of these characters, adding to the alread dozens and dozens of hours worth of possible dialogue. BioWare you so lazy for trying to give the fans what they want.
So lazy.
Seriously, if this is you...go **** yourself.
And you use Man of Steel as a reference? The one I saw didn´t have the red trunks, nor was the suit made of normal cloth. He adapted the iconic look, didn´t copy paste the Reeve one to CG as is the case with Morrigan´s clothing.

Even when I equipped Morrigan with Vestments of the Seer I thought of her in her usual gear.

Morrigan's look isn't copy and pasted. There are several notable changes; the core of the costume in Man of Steel is the same, just like here.

I agree with the whole iconic look thing, but that whole angry rant was not necessary at all. Just saying
And since you brought up Supes in MoS, so glad the logo wasn't on the cape too. There's already a logo on the front, why does it have to be on the back too?

I'm hoping at some point the Western developers manage to take notice their Eastern counterparts have cracked the next even more intriguing puzzle -- having characters that stay recognizable despite sporting more than one outfit per game. It's called an iconic look. Intriguing puzzle to crack, I'm sure, but there it is laid out on the table for ya.
Shouldn't take more than another 10 years. Why, even DAI supposedly starts to dabble with that.

She has changed. Didn't you write that she will not be the same person earlier? People change their clothing when they grow up. She doesn't have to go into the Flemeth/Yavana look, but she should have different tastes regardless of how people recognise the Origins clothing for Morrigan.

You really want to add time travel to the DA universe? IMO That is a can of worms that shouldn't be opened. Just because she wears the same cloths from 10 years ago doesn't mean she is some Magic mirror Stargate thingy time traveller. It's a bit of a stretch
Back to the Future Flemeth would be awesome.
And time travel and time paradoxes are rare in fantasy settings. I think the Kain series, Chrono Trigger, and New Adventures of the Time Machine are the only fantasy video games I recall seeing it in.
