I for one look very forward to the potential character creator bombardment, but that's just me. I enjoy doing this stuff. :S

Three or Two character creator ingame? I can see myself spending a lot of time re-creating the Warden and the Inquisitor.

 

I honestly do not care about the recreation. Hawke will stay the same for me, while my warden may get the female Dorian treatment (in terms of skin tone, eyes, and hair color).

Hmm like asking Varric or Leliana what the know about Hawke or the Warden respectively? That could work... and if you don't bother then they just get the default appearance.

 

That only works if Leliana met the Warden. And what of the Orlesian Warden-Commander?

I wonder if we might get some kind of customisation options pop up actually at the right time in game, like getting a description of Hawke from Varric or the Warden from Leliana etc.  You would have already entered race, gender and origin/class into the keep so really it would be a mini cc.  I have no idea how something like that would work or how problematic implementation might be etc, I'm just thinking out loud.

I think she looks really good. If this means that Canon/Deafualt Hawke was a female, then all the more better. Male Hawke just didn't do it for me. He looked old enough to be Gamlens age.

Honestly if they are going to let us do it (And Laidlaw has seemed to have already confirmed we'll be able to do it for Hawke at least), this is how I imagine they'll let us do it.

 

Everyone's freaking out because they said the Keep wouldn't have the CC, but the Keep is just a means of making the save data to import into DA:I, the CC would be in the actual game.

 

Honestly, it shouldn't be that hard to add a mini CC an extra two or so times, no more harder than it was to add the Mirror (that allowed you to change how Hawke looked) in DA2. The biggest difficulty I could see would be getting the right CC to set for the right character, but that shouldn't be that hard, should it?

I really hope that the theory that, that is the Warden-Commander, so it could be the Hero of Fereldan in certain playthroughs is on the mark.

If that is the case, do you think that's the final boss? The rest of your party are holding of waves of demons, leaving you to fight The Elder One by yourself, only for The Hero of Fereldan and The Champion of Kirkwall to randomly turn up and back you up as temporary party members?

With the first two expansion pacos focus on what got them to that point?

I like the idea, but I also kinda want them to pop up earlier so you can recruit them and see them have interactions with there old friends/special someone.

I kind of hate that idea, to be honest.  I don't want to control Hawke and either Warden, to be honest.  I don't even want them in the game, but that ship has sailed.  If they have to be included, I'd prefer them play a support NPC role in quest line and that be the extent of it.  The bigger their role, the more likelihood that they are going to get "Revaned", which I really, really don't want to happen.

 

I also don't need them to be together.  Yeah, it could make sense for them to be together, but it could make just as much sense for them to never have even met.  I also don't need the Warden and the Warden Commander to play the same role.  The Warden Commander was Orlesian, after all.  I wouldn't mind meeting him/her in Orlais. 

 

And I certainly don't want them to be my party members in the final boss battle.  I'll have just spent 50+ hours with a whole new cast of characters.  I don't want them relegated to the sidelines for a cameo battle appearance from Hawke and the Warden.
