I'm so sorry, but could somebody please explain to me how we're going to be able to uploads our Warden/Hawke appearances into Inquisition in a remotely simple and short way, thank you.

No one knows for sure how it's gonna work

I just don't want some kind of scam to happen, such as certain people being able to upload their appearance data and some people cannot. I just want a nice transfer through file data or everybody will have to recreate through 'Inquisition' itself, I don't want to be screwed over just because I play a certain console/have certain internet connections.

Since we're importing through the Keep, and the Keep doesn't allow for CC, I'm certain we will all be designing our Hawkes/Wardens in the game proper.

That's fine for me, I don't mind because it's equal and probably the best way. If the 'Inquisitor' comes back in future games I hope we don't have to do this again though ha.

Its speculated that after you make your Inquisitor you could be asked to then make your Hawke (and Warden if they are in fact in the game)

Hmm, I do wonder if this so-called "Big Announcement" at the end of Aug may have anything to do with clarifying this whole Hawke/Warden in DAI thing?

I'd love that to be true, but I suspect the big announcement is something everyone will be interested to here. New players aren't really going to care about Warden and Hawke. Some old players too.

I agree I liked Hawke and DA 2 both, the haters can hate the game all they want

I don't understand all the Hawke-hatred. It just seems like people associate him/her too much with the flaws of DA2, and some comments I've seen indicate to me that the commenters appear to have forgotten that Hawke is their own character.
Hawke wasn't important? The Champion was responsible for thwarting a military Qunari takeover of Kirkwall, and played a key role in the start of the Mage/Templar War and the downfall of the Andrastean Chantry. If that is not important, I don't know what is.
Considering all these facts, Hawke also seems to have much more connection to the 'convenient chaos' that is happening in Thedas at the time of Inquisition, and behind of which the 'Big Bad' seems to be, thus making Hawke's appearance in DA:I a lot more logical than that of the Warden (supposedly).
And sarcastic fem!Hawke was just awesome, you can't deny that.

This is true. It's hard for me to remember that what is a huge deal to me does not necessarily qualify as "Huge Deal". ![]()
Either way, I sincerely hope they offer clarification on all this, and soon. ...I feel like I'm speaking Qun or something, "We humbly request clarification."

It would help Hawke's case if they didn't look so ignorant and ineffectual.

Could you elaborate on that? Because those are pretty vague terms to describe a character.

Can we get back on track instead of talking about the hate for the characters? Anyway, I mentioned earlier that Laidlaw responded to a tweet asking him if the Warden in the trailer was the Orlesian Warden, and he answered that people are overthinking it....was could that mean?
I'm pretty sure that it means people are overthinking it.
But more seriously, I guess what he is trying to say is that we have to accept that the guy shown in the trailer is not our hero from Origins, and that's it. No weird way of saying that it's the Orlesian Warden-Commander, no cryptic way of telling us that this would actually be our real Warden because BW's default Warden died when killing the Archdemon: none of that. It's just not our PC from Origins.

Hello! I don't normally post, but I just had a thought. Assuming there are conversations between Hawke/the warden and the inquisitor, I think it would be interesting if they had a system in place where you would get to select the dialogue options for both characters. There was one instance in Dreamfall: The Longest Journey where I remember them doing something like this when two of the main characters met:
*WARNING: Dreamfall: The Longest Journey spoilers!*

Of course, I'd prefer less auto-dialogue than what is shown in that video. ![]()
