My biggest concern about the Warden and Hawke appearing is their dang faces, because I am picky like that... To what extent can we get "our" Hawke, for instance do we just get a character creator preset and do with it what we will. Or will there be something even more, like importing the face mesh/morph and then selecting hair/eye/etc to get a truly authentic resemblance. I hope it is the latter.

I want so badly for my Mage Warden, Mage Hawke, and Mage Inquisitor are being attacked by a huge demon and the combine their magic to create a massive fireball that incinerates the enemy.

 

Then afterward they'd go get a spot of tea and talk about how they think they are the coolest one. lol

The only problem I see is the voice and personality for our Warden (for Hawke, there is going to be an option in the Keep as to what personality the hero of DA2 has). Hawke had his/her own voice actor, while Warden was a silent protagonist. Some people might be disappointed if their Warden returns, but the voice and personality are completely different from what they expected. Hawke is much easier in that regard as there are many less variables to implement.

Although I romanced Morrigan, I didn't leave through the Eluvean with her. I wonder what Morrigan's reaction will be, when she meets my Warden?

We may get to choose pick a personality for our Warden as well. It's not going to be exactly as in Origin's but we'll probably get something close to what we want and I doubt there's any other way of doing it. Personally, I don't mind my Warden's personality getting retconned, as long as I get to choose what it gets retconned too.

It'll probably be one single VA, maybe two like The Inquisitor.

The real problem in here is this regarding the warden.

If bioware dont bring a appearance here and you only get references, then bioware is never going to address the warden i future DA games

I can't help but wonder what the Warden's status is in the expanded fiction like the books and comics etc.  Does he/she exist there as a tangible character or are they just vaguely referenced or neither?

While not ouright stated, they seem to follow the default storyline, were an female dalish elf sacrifices herself after refusing Morrigan ritual.

I honestly hope their role is small since I intend to ignore what the game says and pretend Hawke and the Warden and the Inquisitor are all one guy.

 

He helped his family escape Amaranthine's Darkspawn after leaving the Wardens.

 

And yes, it makes no sense, but headcanon, man, headcanon!
