If Lelani Aeducan went from a brunette dwarven woman to a blond human man, the joining has some crazy after effectsI've never met somebody who changed their entire basic race, facial structure, skin tone and eye colour with age, but alright.

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw 7s
IF we were going to have one of your previous characters appear, we would absolutely give you a chance to change his or her look.
That capital IF is a little odd.

I think they've reassured us several times that they want a Warden&Hawke appearances done right. Sure, "right" is a very vague word, but I believe it would at the very least mean customizing their appearance.

The Keep will ask if you played the previous titles which will then send data to DA:I to queue up two extra character creators for the Warden and Champion respectively. This is how I'm assuming it would work if they're indeed giving the player the option of customizing former heroes.

Ah good. Who said this though and where?
Mike Laidlaw (creative director of Dragon Age) on twitter. ^-^
Whoa.
That says "7s" -- is it actually from just now? Because I think I remember it from ages ago.
Yeah! :3 Just now.

You're Batman. Can't you just dangle Mike Laidlaw from a roof and find out what he knows?

Hence my earlier statement.
Seriously, he must not have seen the trailer, because that is blatantly, obviously Hawke.
Its a woman in the Champion of Kirkwall armor, with the stupid blood smear.

So... the blond dude is not the Hero of Ferelden at all? Is it Alistair, then, or just some random Warden Hawke brought with her...? Hey I know, it's Carver with dyed hair!

That's probably WardenStair. Maybe. Kinda. If so though he's been packing on the cheese. And his nose looks bigger.
Or it's just a Warden. Or the Orlesian Warden Commander, given that as was said before Bioware's default state is US Dalish Elf. And Mike said "as in DAO" which was mum on Awakening.

Oh god, instead of spending a long time in one CC, I'm now gonna spend a long time in 3 CC's!
Edit: Oh, just read Mike's new tweets.

SWEAR TO ME LAIDLAW!!
Seriously though I'm hoping with every fiber of my being that the Warden (DA:O) isn't excluded now.

Well... that's the one I wanted to see most, anyway...!

Then if that is not our warden who the heck is he?
I find that a tad unfair to bring back Hawke (whom I did not like much at all) and not the warden

Hmm...doesn't really look like Alistair to me.
I'm curious now if the Warden is showing up at all, or they decided he/she would stay off screen while Hawke would appear due to the fact that the latter is probably the easier of the two to implement.

The Warden's a bit more challenging to bring into DAI than Hawke, mostly on account that they're voiceless.

The thing is, though... Hawke's story is absolutely unfinished and was intended to continue. So if only one of them makes an appearance, it really ought to be him, regardless of personal feelings. From a narrative perspective, it needs an ending.
