Hawke always meets Stroud in Kirkwall no matter what.
Not if Alistair remains a Warden.
You can encounter him in the Deep Roads with your sibling regardless of Origins events.

I've never had Alistair remain a Warden, so I didn't realize that. I guess they had to keep him in the game somehow no matter which non-execution choice you make.
I shouldn't have but I laughed out loud.
Where is Tali, Zaeed, and Javik in your Mass effect signature!?!?!?!?!?!?
Ah good. Who said this though and where?
Mike Laidlaw (as it says in the post you quoted lol) on twitter(Where everything about DAI ever is posted. Its sort of weird)
In the PC trailer, one of the quests has an objective "Go to the War Table and find the Warden" below "Meet Hawke and Stroud in the Western Approach." I super content now that I know that even though heshe may not appear in person, the Warden at least plays a part in the overall story of Inquisition.

??? That would mean my game is bugged. I get Stroud as the Warden in the Deep Roads and Aiistair the warden only shows up at the end of Act 2 for me

I was talking to someone who said you encountered Stroud no matter, what, that was this him I was referring to meeting in the Deep Roads. Sorry that was unclear, your DA2 isn't bugged.
Or at least not more so than any other.

Oh okay.
Thanks for clearing that up ![]()
I love this:

she couldn’t save the ones who needed her most. what kind of champion is that?
their bodies were burned, but Logan found a nice spot outside of Kirkwall with a nice view to lay some headstones so she could go and have a quiet moment with her family every now and then.

I'm kind of glad with my own headcanon for now, regarding the fate of my Warden.
She's already ruling Ferelden with Alistair, which means she has enough on her plate to keep her busy. Working for the rights of mages and elves, healing land damaged by the Blight, improving relations with other countries, rebuilding the army, a rehaul of Denerim to make it more secure, elevating capable nobles to fill empty positions like Teryn of Gwaren or Arl of Denerim, making sure the economy is flowing back into the royal coffers, visiting Fergus from time to time, keeping an eye on the Orlesians....
As you can see, my Hero Queen has quite enough problems without YET another invasion of monsters slaughtering people and pillaging the land. Of course, it will happen anyway.

This perfectly sums up how I feel playing DA2. It's probably part of the reason why I spare Anders. By that point every other member of the family is dead or in the Wardens/Circle. Hawke must be a very lonely person.
My Warden became Commander Shepard of the Grey. He also made his best friend King. Btw, does Alistair always hate you regardless if un/harden, (and no romance) in Awakening. I rescued the Keep, but he acts so cold, like he wanted me to die instead. WTF?! Why?
I was 100% with him.
As for Hawke, he and Fenris joined Isabella on her ship. They're living a pirate's life...
in more than one way.

I've kind of set up my world where my characters coincide with attitude alignments. My warden was the pragmatic and aggressive. Hawke is sarcastic. Time for the Inquisitor to do the next thing (and probably clean up after their mess).
I don't think my Inquisitor and Warden would get along at all. Hawke is hard to hate.

Sums up my DA2 playthrough. Lost Carver in the prologue, then didnt' take Anders with me to the deep roads so Bethany bit the dust, lost the mother in Act 2 and killed Anders in Act 3.

Bah i do not like ALISTAIR as a king he is too fool is better a mabari.
There was a rumour about a masked/caped warden matching our alive HoF in the game
Sooo, true or not?
From what I understand, all you get is an operation that takes 16 hours which results in a letter.
I've just reached the point where I choose to either use Custom/Default Hawke. But I heard there's some bug that causes a change in your quizitor's voice if you go custom. Has anyone successfully used a custom Hawke that didn't result in a voice change?

My character's voice didn't change.
