I find that a tad unfair to bring back Hawke (whom I did not like much at all) and not the warden
I don't think its unfair, Hawke's story was left unfinished, whereas the Warden's wasn't.

I would be amused if the dragon working for us (or who at least seemed to be helping us) was Hawke.
When she says "I want to be a dragon" she is not ****** around

Seriously, he must not have seen the trailer, because that is blatantly, obviously Hawke.
Its a woman in the Champion of Kirkwall armor, with the stupid blood smear.
Or, stay with me, he really isn't allowed to spoil the game at all. He's probably not allowed to directly state anything about what happens in the story without permission and he probably doesn't have (Or doesn't think he has) permission to say anything about it.

If Hawke brought a warden with her then that doesn't bode well for our warden. Having the taint does that mean Hawke need help tracking down our warden.

I just realized something! Remember how in Bioware's canon the Warden died because of the US!?
Maybe they will show up after all, but didn't in the trailer because they weren't alive in that playthrough!

Maybe the Warden won't be brought back at all.
Hawke is easier since he/she can only be human and he/she had a voice that could not be changed.
Warden can be of 3 races and had no voice. And has the potential to die.

Well, they are a mage, yeah, but I'm not sure wether they were male or female...
And maybe they wanted to show female this time because of the Male Hawke in the previous marketing.

I'm not, my Warden is supposed to be with Morrigan. That doesn't work out for everyone.

...well, they'd still have to explain the Warden's supposed disappearance, like they evidently are for Hawke. Would be a little odd if the Warden was just out of the picture.

...I mean what he was talking about. Obviously it's Hawke but the Warden appearing is still up in the air, especially with the Dev apparently being unwilling to talk about him/her in the game. Calm your chest.

So, time travel has been my theory for months, and, if whomever's playthrough this trailer borrowed from's Warden had been sacrificed, well. . . Alistair is kinda the default hero of that game.

Well i said there is a chance at least pretty much i don't see the warden as npc who was blank protagonist and wasn't restricted to 3 personalities pretty much they can't do that in any proper way without crushing massive numbers of pc's that players have created.

Both The Warden and Hawke go missing at the end of 2, so your Warden may have been with Morrigan (wherever the hell she was) for a time but was taken away or had to leave. That's what I always assumed.
I know we've seen party members with Orsino's staff, but Hawke having it makes me so happy.
