Since it is confirmed that the warden accompanying Hawke is in fact, NOT the Hero of Feralden... I have to say...

 

...does anyone else think he looks like Keran? (Templar they attempted to supplant with a demon in DAII.) Since Keran ends up on minimal pay for 10 years (or alternatively, booted from the order? I never kicked him out) it could make sense he joins the wardens for financial reasons... combine that with witnessing the corruption and fall of the templars, the kidnapping of [sibling/companion], and other outside forces, it doesn't sound impossible he volunteer himself to the wardens.

While the Keep doesn't have the necessary customisation tools, that DOESN'T mean the game won't. The Keep is serving a means to better translate choices over various consoles by the sounds of things.

 

You might be able to import your saves via the keep, confirm choice options, then upload that import information into the game, and be able to customise the Warden/Hawke/Inquisitor before you start the game.

Oh, really? So, Isabela and Zevran aren't in the game, physically... though they may be mentioned. I think it's confirmed by Gaider that Zev is mentioned.

I'm so happy we get to customise our Hawke and (assuming they make a return also) Warden, I was afraid that if they returned we we're going to be stuck with some random default version I barely recognise.  I wonder when we'll customise them though, it isn't in the Keep so it would have to be in game...so at the start maybe?  While we are choosing what to import?  They couldn't make you do it mid game lol, that'd really take you out of it.   Also have all my fingers crossed that the Warden isn't dead or anything similar, I've always had a soft spot for my Warden over my Hawke, it'd be sad if we only got Hawke.

Combine the Keep's post and Mike's twitter post, I think they mean: "you can import your saves into the keep and have the imported Warden and Hawke appear in DAI. But you cannot customiize them in the keep"

It has already been confirmed that you can't upload saves into the keep.

Yeah, I'm thinking it's just a new character that Hawke bumped into in his/her quest to find out more about Corypheus and the wardens. Might explain why s/he was in hiding. Being tracked by the chantry secret police will make anyone scared.

is Hawke really going to make an appearance? Is it confirmed?

Sorry for the barrage of questions, but it would be awesome to know what became of our character and, yes, that includes the option of a semi-zombified Hawke possessed by the spirit of the Spider Queen crawling toward us with the intent of eating the Inquisitor.

As for the Warden I would be even happier to see him; still, if I remember correctly, Alistair told us the Wardens outlived their Joining by twenty years and ten years have already went by by the end of Dragon Age II so there could be bad news for us.

My theory is that its the Orleasian Warden from Awakening. 

 

In Bioware's canon, the warden did the US.
