With something similar for Hawke.
Truncating the character into one of three personalities was heavily criticized with Dragon Age II; I certainly hope this wouldn't be the case again.

The Warden would be much harder to include than Hawke, having no voice and 3 times as many racial appearances.
I wonder if they could build a persona based on decisions, and for Hawke, dialog profile? Like, characterizing a direct Hawke who sided with the Templars, turned Grace in, sent Emile and the other girl back to the circle, etc, as having an issue with mages?

I just want all 3 to meet because they're all face-modeled after myself and they'll look like 3 long lost brothers and hopefully their heads explode when they meet giving me a special ending.

That could be a possibility. Still, you would think Bioware learned the lesson after DA2's prologue. What was the meaning of having a preset Hawke during Varric's tale and then choosing his/her appearance? Having the character creator at the beginning, before anything else, would have made much more sense.

Very true, but since BioWare seems to withhold the information people will keep speculating until the game is released and I think most people would like to see the Warden make an appearance even if it's harder to include he/she. To simply discard a character who just saves the world from annihilation would be a wasted potential and insult to people who have a connection with their own character.

So glad they are actually featuring these incredibly important characters ON-SCREEN. No more of this 'they disappeared' cr*p. They did it with Revan and the Exile(though that was partly Obsidian) in KOTOR, and I never forgave them for not following up(and no, that dumba** novel doesn't count)
And please, nobody panic about how Biowar is making canon Wardens and Hawkes. The Keep WILL allow you to chose the class, gender and orgin of your Wardens and Hawkes. Whatever else they do, they have to build around that.
Plus, now there is a chance that all three protagonists will fight alongside eachother to face a big monster. EPIC.
The only problem is this: I now have a compulsive need to make sure that the three protagonists balance out with 1 of each class. OThewise, it just won't feel right, for some reason.

Yep i think that is our Warden there if he our she is alive next to HawkeI imagine that the "Warden" character in this Enemies of the Inquisition trailer was the Orlesian Warden Commander from Awakening. I mean, why would they have a third random Warden with two of the three protagonists from the Dragon Age games? More than likely, this trailer's content follows Bioware's default canon, with the female Dalish Warden dead, and Hawke being a mage.
If I cannot create my male warrior, asian-featured influenced Hawke from DA2 then I'm 'OUT'

i am soooo freaking happy that my Hawke gonna be in >< i don't care if i can't have the features of the hawke i played !! i just need his class gender choices and the one he romanced to play a role in his apearition and events of Inqui !!! am soo glad !! people are not sure about the warden ,i hope he too makes it, but personally hawke for me is more important for emotional reasons i hope he'll be with Anders too , i miss them soo !
