Kreia alone made KOTOR II for me (best NPC I have ever seen in a game - especially with restored content mod), so if he's 1/10 that interesting; the game would be even better than I expected.
I actually just played KOTR 2 for the first time recently, that single character brought me more entertainment than all the characters is KOTOR 1 put together. Brilliant writing for a video game.

it does seem like he's kinda teaching quiz. agressively. yet...intimately... also makes sense to me if he recruited very early, then u have rouge, warrior and mage in yo party. (varric, cass, solas)

[Paranoid Inquisitor] I take this as evidence that Solas is plotting against you. He doesent seem to care for your safety. Seems to me he is forcing you to close that rift as he would take a hammer and use it as a tool. Solas is obviously envious of the Inquisitor's powers and wants it for himself. Just wait and see, Solas is already sending chills down my spine! [/paranoid inquisitor]

speaking of Rift Mage, I really hope all the spells under that Spec aren't green colored.

Imagining this scene with a dwarf inquisitor makes laugh.

omg yes! Same with the scene when the inquisitor is freeing Leliana from her binds as a Dwarf,
on topic though, I wished they showed more of Solas' or even added an audio track of him speaking. I wanted to hear Gareth David-Lloyd's sexiness

I mean, maybe. But there's also a clip earlier in the trailer where the Inquisitor has their hand out and seems to be struggling, as if the Inquisitor is weakened in addition to not knowing WTF. It's very possible that Solas is intervening to prevent doom and is less concerned for the Inquisitor's safety than the safety of everyone who would be harmed by the rift/demons coming out of the rift.
It's also possible that Solas is just an easily irritated teacher. I mean, he's been his own pupil for decades; I imagine some meathead in a metal suit who seems to have difficulty staying upright could prove trying.

The bold part made me laugh. ![]()
Yeah, pretty much the above. I could see the Inquisitor potentially hesitating (which makes sense - would you be all that eager to stick your hand in a glowing green vortex that has monsters falling out of it?) or being skeptical and Solas losing patience and hence that scene. Or even if the Inquisitor is struggling, Solas being more concerned with getting the Rift closed than with the Inquisitor's comfort.

That was my impression from the trailer. If true that's pretty neat. Heroes don't exist in a vacuum after all; companions being formative to your growth as a leader would be awesome.
