That's the bad thing about war, or at least modern wars that are about Ideology and practice of governance rather then territory disputes or gold.
It's because when you seek to obliterate a ideology, a notion of how to live and view life, you are committing a grave act, just because you view an ideology as wrong, or a people as flawed does not give you, nor your nation the right to obliterate them.
It sure as **** doesn't give them the right to hand half the country and its people into chattel bondage to the soviets for a half century...but anyway, folks need their white knights, heroes, good guys whatever you need to call it.
I support the United States mind you, i live here, i fought for this country and i can picture myself no where else, but i don't fool myself when it comes to war.
I fought for this country, against ideologies that we as a nation and people find disagreeable, so how am i to deny the action, when i have already engaged it upon the very nation in question's behalf?
