To my mind if the Chantry zealots insist on calling you the Herald of Andraste then just use it for your own purposes. So I'm the Herald of Andraste and I'm also a Dalish mage, so the Herald says that it is about time the Chantry gave back the Dales to the elves, the Herald says that the Chantry have got the Chant of Light all wrong with regard to mages, the Herald says all mages should have the status in their communities that the Dalish Keepers have. Seems to me they are either going to have to revise their thinking pretty damn quick or stop calling you the Herald of Andraste.
"Herald of Andraste"?

Are you serious?
Not only would that likely result in possession, but it also denies the Mage in question the ability to actually have their gift put to use.
For the service of the Chantry!
Because unfortunately, Mages need education and its more economical to house them together.
Seriously, its like you don't understand the concept of a prison work camp or something...
The word you are looking for is concentration camp, or gulag.

Come on.
Well, if the apparent total injustices of the Circles aren't enough to make it worth the effort, then it's clear that continued respiration is indeed preferable to death.
Bad argument people struggle for life in hellish conditions, just look at the stories of the Death Marches of world war 2, or the stories of liberated slaves, or people who live after being horribly maimed.
Doesn't make putting them in that situation an less abhorrent.

Hyperbole friend, Hyperbole.
I mean seriously, if Gaider doesn't even buy into the argument of the circle being slavery, you really think he would support it being called a death camp?
Beyond that, it is neither of those things, in fact i think the best wording for it i have seen thus far has been quarantine.

I would approve of some changes in the Circle system, but overal I think its the best for everyone.

no, they could come to be regarded as such by some people inside, as imprisonment even in a nice environment can drive some people nuts, the point is however that using willingness to commit suicide as a guide to how bad a situation is fails horribly.

Concentration camps are not death camps (especially the non-Nazi ones, their have been many, sadly) you could for instance look at the British camps of the Boer war, where families where confined to try to end the insurgency [total failure btw], they did have nasty conditions and no mistake, but their rates of starvation and disease where lower than the Armies at the same time and place, implying that conditions where as good as they could be made for the resources available.
Or the 'enemy alien' camps of the Uk and USA during world war 2, well maintained prison complexes which imprisoned people for either citizenship (UK) or ethnic extraction (US)
Or the post Stalin Gulags for instance Perm-36 that remained open as a 're-education camp' until 1987.
All of those are a fair comparison, a well maintained prison camp is still a prison camp.

Concentration camps are not death camps
Then why not simply call them internment camps or prison camps?
Using a term for shock value and then explaining how it technically isn't a death camp isn't a sound strategy in my eye.

Right.
I was watching an old video from last year about DA:I and I remembered how all the soldiers called the inquisitor "eminence". But in these new videos they all call the inquisitor "Herald".
Thought that was interesting. I hope they didn't remove the "eminence" title from the game.

It's possible depending on who you are , what you do , you'll get a different title.
I think we heard "Herald of Andraste" for a female human warrior. We know this background can also be close to the Chantry...
So maybe this Inquisitor sees herself as Andraste's Champion , and people can easily see her like this too.
Now if you play a big mean vashoth mage who says in public "Andraste was a loony" and you kill kittens, I'm not sure people are going to be eager to see you as blessed by Andraste.
Possible in some cases the Inquisitor will be known as a fake savior.

The Inquisitor from last year was a male human.
Though I think what you got in mind is definitely not a bad idea. It would be great if it works like that.

What I think would be an interesting spin to this Herald of Andraste thing is if the Human Inquisitor is a devout Andrastian, but considers being titled as Her Herald heresy and blasphemy.
If I could RP my Inquistor as offended or angry for being compared to his Prophetess it would be awesome.

"Your Eminence" is probably simply a form of address, like using "Your Majesty" for monarchs. The general public are probably the ones who are calling you "Herald". That probably feeds into how you can shrug off the title.

But the Inquisition soldiers you were freeing were calling you "Herald" too.
I have the theory that the "Herald" title may be earned after a certain event in the main plot. That would explain the different ways of adressing the PC. Of course, it's just a theory; it might be that the "Eminence" title was discarded later in development.

Why can't I just be called "Inquisitor"?
As a huge fan of Warhammer 40K.... I would totally be fine with that title.

Because it seems that every DA protagonist has to become sooner or later the "Something of Something".

Your title instils fear in the everyone who hears it, from the lowest citizen to the most powerful Lord Generals. None are beyond your gaze, nor your reach. In the name of the God-Emperor of Man, purge the alien, kill the mutant, burn the heretic!
