So now that Mass Effect 2 is ruined, what do you plan to play instead?

In particular, I spoiled myself with the companions as I wanted to know about their personalities and back round so I could contemplate ways to converse with them.
The Prothean/Collector spoiler however is bad...very very very bad.
Remember that part when you find out about what Sovereign really is? Imagine playing through Mass Effect 1 already knowing that.
This cannot be overlooked. The game is ruined.

To the OP: I'm sorry that the game has been spoiled for you, but at least take some comfort in the fact that your thread has warned at least one person away and preserved the game for him. You have my thanks.

I usually spoil myself to a limited degree because some things I prefer to know about a game before playing it.

Ever heard of doing more than one playthrough?
Sorry for double posting.

I mean its not like it sucks out all my enjoyment out of the game.
And usually spoilers lack personal context.

I did that for Assassin's creed 2. It was hard to find out what the ending meant but nevertheless a very good ending!

lol, that's pretty pathetic. Why don't you just experience the story for yourself with all it's permutations?Borschtbeet wrote...
Suit yourself but I'm not interested in paying full price for a game where the storyline contributes a major role to the game's entertainment value when that storyline has been ruined.
Right now, the only thing Mass Effect 2 has going for it is the gameplay. Everything else is just a hallow shell.

For example, LoTR. The book was written well before the movies, but did you not enjoy the movies? They were still awesome even though you knew what was going to happen - and in this case you knew the ENTIRE story, not just one aspect of it. So stop your whining. If you don't play mass effect 2, then its your loss - don't cry about it on the forums. What do you want us to do about it?

I think I will play Mass Effect 2. Its the journey that matters, not the destination. So if the spammers find out a way to tell me every single choice and line of dialogue that got them there, then I don't really care.

ME2 is not spoiled. Just because some info got out, and info that we don't know is true or not, doesn't mean its all over. If your not going to play the game because of that then your retarded. You still shape 90% of the game, the 10% linear parts shouldn't bother you really. I've seen so many playthrough vids and a few streams, but i feel the same. Why? because every playthrough is different. I know mine will not be a paragon for example, or a soldier.

how did mass effect 2 get ruined? Even then, just look at this perspective
this game is so good, even if they told you EVERYTHING, you can still look forward to dlc, and even then, why would you listen to everything? lol, but I am curious, wtf made you so much of a drama queen to post this?

I've seen all of the recently spoiled revelations in the game myself and, to be honest, they were all ridiculously lame and predictable. I was also VERY underwhelmed by the suicide mission. The ending that follows is even worse.

ME2=Excellent Game.
Besides, my buddy told me the fricking ending to AC2 in conversation. Still loved the game though.
