I'll take door #1, Corypheus.

I'm not going much on voice actor - Bioware could hire a new one for any reason, really, and I find the storyline reasons most compelling, but it sounded enough like him to me - just with added Bigbad confidence and bass in his voice. And he left his decrepit darkspawn form in Kirkwall, he could sound different in a new body.

Has anyone placed the accent? I was thinking Scottish but I'm not very good with accents.

I don't really think he'd be the Elder One really, allied with him maybe
He had to be planning this for quite some time but Corypheus was only released recently

Well, one could argue that Corypheus has been plotting the breach for a thousand years - his original attempt was about that long ago, and for this attempt, he's had at least three years to infiltrate the wardens and convince venatori and magisters to help him. That's time enough to me.
I can kind of see him being like what Senya was saying, not Fen'Harel but a spirit that was cast down to the fade. I could also see him being the Forgotten one.
I'd rather it be another one of the Magisters besides Cophy... mainly because we already saw and fought him why make the main antagonist a rehashed character we already fought?
I'd like it to be the leader of the Magisters who reached the Black City.
Dumat was slained in the first blight.

Wasn't Corypheus the leader? His name means leader of the chorus, so I've always thought he was the leading magister.

I got the impression that Cory was one of several Magisters, but not necessarily the leader. I don't think it's been confirmed either way though.
I love his voice too much to care about his origin, just give me more Elder One!
Careful what you ask for. Suddenly you click on a heart by mistake in conversation with him and end up sleeping with him... her... it? ![]()
Having sex with the main villain would probably cause some drama in the stronghold though.
Cullen: *Gasp* Sleeping with the enemy? He is trying to destroy the world!
Inquisitor: I just wanted to cuddle *sadface*
Dumat. Old God. Destroyer of worlds. Grand corruptor. Gentleman lover.
All Hail the Elder One! May his Reign be endless and may he bring Order to this chaotic World! Bow before your new God and be spared.
*ahem*
If converting to the Qun isn't an Option, I'm all for the big Badass Dragon Guy.

It would actually be pretty cool if they had an option to 'surrender' similar to Jade Empire, with a full cutscene ending and everything. I would love to see my Inquisitor leading the cult of New Old God. Bringing Chaos to Order.

The important bits:
[DA]: In any story of good and evil, you have to have a powerful foe to stand in the hero's way. How would you describe the "Elder One" from Dragon Age: Inquisition in one word?
[DG]: Relentless.
[SF]: Let's go with "ambitious."
[LK]: Arrogance. Not "arrogant"—that's somehow not enough. He has a confidence born of absolute certainty that in his estimation no others can comprehend. He will do what needs be done.
I wonder if that pic with the guy with Dalish tattoos on his face is the Elder One's human form
I don't think he is any of those listed in the OP. I think he is a new entity whom we haven't heard of, or at least next to nothing of, before.
I wonder if that pic with the guy with Dalish tattoos on his face is the Elder One's human form
I think that should be 'elven form' xd
I think that guy's just a thrall though.
