The idea behind this character is that she has made her living as a mercenary ronin, and is not accustomed to being part of a large organisation or faction. When put in charge of the Inquisition, she will find the change difficult at the beginning, but she will approach it with determination and will soon prove herself adept at command.
Also, she is Chaotic Good. She does what she feels is right and pays no heed to man-made laws.

I'm torn...
Originally I was all set to play a Dalish Mage (Knight Enchanter) but after seeing some of the recent (and awesome) Rogue gameplay... it's a tough call. It'll probably come down to whatever whim strikes me at the time.
Key Traits: Very Pro-Dalish/Elf, Sarcastic, Fun-Loving and will do whatever it takes to get the job done.
If it can be done with diplomacy - so be it.
If it requires a more happy-stabby solution... well, that works too.

There is nuance in the traits of course...I plan to play this character as someone wholly devoted to closing the rifts. I'm loosely basing her on Angelina Jolie's Maleficent, so her having her hand marked and being tasked with closing the rifts is analogous to Maleficent having her wings severed and seeking revenge against Stefan.
She's not an immoral or amoral person per se, but one who will likely have to put these considerations aside given the position she's in. She's also aggressive in her devotion to the cause; she may be gruff, but she's not going to be unnecessarily hostile or vindictive or anything like that...to allies.

All I can say for sure right now is Elven Male Rogue. I'll probably go Asassin, but until I see I a skill tree (and now EXACTLY what a Tempest is) I don't want to decide. And as for character... that depends on how many times I'm called knife-ear or rabbit.

Key traits: In my head, currently her personality is "introverted and seemingly cold, and prone to threatening others if she feels it's necessary, but caring to people that get close to her and something of a "big sister" to the rest of the Inquisition." So the traits I voted for, for her, Aggressive, Neutral, Focused, Introverted, Stoic, Commanding, Friendly, and Moral.
Basically I want her to be the sort of person that seems really dangerous to people that don't know her, but inspires undying loyalty within the Inquisition itself. Because I like playing ultimately nice people (and my Hawke was honestly kind of a dick and I want to vary it up) but I also have a bad habit of being TOO goody-two-shoes and that's boring.
