I always tend to play through as myself first (with slight embellishments as a guinea pig then I do my canon play through and let the beard flow.

Side note: I will be the scourge of humans and will take the most evil option that is provided to me. If the story will allow will try to benefit the Dalish Elves and to help them improve their conditions. Death to Andraste!

 

Disclaimer: I'm aware that won't be the case and we will be probably forced to be tha Chantry hero for Andraste against the Old Gods....pity I like the Old Golds.

what do you mean we'll probably be forced to be the chantry hero of andraste ?? is that the title the inquisitor gonna get in the end ?! i don't think so because that wouldnt be fair for the other religions if the hero is a qunari (qun) or elf ect ! and as a male mage ,i had enough of the andrastian religion all twisted, based on facts that happend centuries ago ! now all mages want is practice by day and have a home and a family to return to by night !!!

The devs said that the Qunari Inquisitor will be Vashoth, meaning they will have grown up outside the Qun.  But I understand what you're getting at.  Why would a Dalish elf be made into the hero of the Chantry?  It doesn't make sense.  We're probably going to be able to choose which factions to side with and which ones to fight.  Well, at least I hope we will.

He's going to take on his leadership role of the Inquisition while trying to keep control of situations. If a situation can be resolved without conflict, that's the ideal objective. However, he's willing to do anything necessary to accomplish his goals (ends justify the means). 

 

I guess it's fairly general but that's how I tend to enjoy these types of games so it's always that way in my first playthrough.

Second run will likely be a Qunari female 2-H Warrior that likes to create Mayheeeemmm!

 

Third run/fourth run: Dwarf Rogue/Elf Mage

 

All other playthroughs will be whatever whim I feel at the time. There's plenty of scope for the imagination.

yes ,i think they're out to let us choose about this ,because this isnt any common title as champion or hero of ferelden ! 

i don't know exactly whats going on on inqui ,beside the templars vs mages war ,do you know whats other factions and sides there is ? because as much as i know we'll have to work with the chantry's knights as we see in the videos , i really don't like them .(Only if they decide to change for the better of the mages plight ! thats for my case anywyay)  . 

in the end i hope we're giving the chance to choose what end do we want just like DA2 !

To be completely honest, I don't know much about Rift Mage so I can't say I'll pick that specialization. I may switch that up.

 

Also, my Inquisitor will be many other traits than the ones I chose depending on the situation; Friendly, Diplomatic, Chaotic, Aggressive, etc.

Did you read the options?  Aggressive, Commanding, Immoral, and Lawful would work.

Could this be part of the reason why Dwarves aren't as popular?

I don't understand why people feel the need to judge how other people play the game I mean really is it that big of a deal, does people playing something different that you physically hurt you or something?
