I would love to be a sarcastic Qunari instead of all these alignments.
If I can't do that then pre-order is cancelled. Is that still a thing or did that die out while I was gone?

lol... no, it's still a thing. This is just a fun poll. There are no enforced alignments in DAI.
Sounds like chaotic good. It's pretty vigilante (think Batman) to have no problem taking out those you deem bad for the greater good.
Well it's largely a matter of perspective but if you ask me, lawful, neutral and chaotic generally describe the importance a person gives to a system of rules, not their capacity to break them. For example a lawful character supports the system, a neutral accepts the system (even when working around it) and a chaotic doesn't recognize it's importance.
I consider Nolan's Batman to be lawful good because he wants to see the system flourish but has to work outside of it till the world doesn't need him anymore. He tries to cooperate with law enforcement and he is sympathetic and also he has strict rules about how to deal with his enemies that conform with the state's laws. I consider CW's Arrow to be Chaotic (at least first season) because he does what he feels is right with no reservations and try to circumvent everything to reach his goal. He doesn't value life. He lies and cheats and generally does whatever he wants.
So by my "definition", our friend here is neutral good based mostly on his third point.
For my first inquisitor probably Chaotic Good.
Chaotic Good
I want chaotic evil but I doubt it could work
True Neutral, my inquisitor never asked for this, but now their stuck with a glow in the dark hand a bunch of crazy folks following them about.
So heck, why not roll with it?

The Qun is supreme.
Neutral good. My Quizzy is a nice guy.
Although I'll probably make a couple of Quizzies of the other alignments too.
Chaotic Good.
Its all the fun of doing whatever the hell i want, but without any consequences because im a good guy.
Hmm.
Somewhere between neutral good and chaotic good. My alignment is never exact because it depends on how I feel about the legal system/society in-game. For example I like and support Skyrim's way of doing things and thus my Dragonborn is pretty much lawful good.
But Thedas is all kinds of backwards. I don't support the legal system-such as it is- at all. Therefore my Grey Warden, Hawke and Inquisitor are much more likely to place little importance on the rule of law.
Wait... Not that I'm complaining but how did this end up in the DA:I section? Does this mean we can have polls in sections other the the off-topic section?
Yay polls are back!!!
I voted Chaotic Good. ^o^
I don't do alignments, because I've RPed with too many paladins. It is entirely possible to be as anarchistic and evil as possible while claiming the law and greater good on your side. Don't get me started. Really.
I'd rather be grey about everything and do what seems best at the time (and, perhaps, be wrong a lot) than impose my will on something that might work otherwise. I'll probably screw it up anyway, so neither the righteous crusaders nor the malignant tyrants need feel threatened. I figure I'll be dead at the end of the day, in any case, so doing the least possible harm seems like a cool option, for a change.

Isn't that basically just True Neutral? Eh... maybe "pessimistic" True Neutral?
I cant select any of those choices. I will play good inqisitors, an evil one (once, maybe twice (at most) as much as it will allow) and possibly a neutral but more good ones than neutral.
oh come now, I've never been as die hard as you
You can be though!
Convert!
This was a little hard since I wasn't too familiar with these (although I have heard of them). After reading the descriptions, I think my human-hating yet good-at-heart fierce Dalish inquisitor will be chaotic good.
My happy-go-lucky Dalish mage will be chaotic neutral; "free spirit" defines him to a 'T'!

"Good but flexible." I see her as being motivated to save the world, help the helpless, reshape the damaged world into a better place and all that. But, how much she follows rules and breaks them depends on what she thinks is needed at the time.
Chaotic good for sure!
To be honest I really can't say. My Warden character (in my profile picture) is a good guy who supports the Chantry and believes in the Maker. He tries to make the world a better place and do what he feels is right. With Hawke, I'm going to play a very different character who has his or her (I haven't decided on gender yet) own beliefs and motives. I'm still working out the details for that play-through as I play through Origins.
With the Inquisitor, I'm just not even thinking about any of the details, although if I were to just come up with a rough template, the character will probably be far more aggressive and ruthless than my Warden or Hawke. But that's really as far as I can go with it right now. During DAII, I will most likely be thinking about that more. But I still have to finish Origins and all the DLC for it before I even get to that.
Always Chaotic Good. I try to help everybody and do what's right or are needed but it doesn't have to follow the law.
