At one point in the trailer the inquisitor was reaching for some lady and I willing to bet it was are prophet well I hope so

Well, we're in her temple, so it might be something related to Andraste, or think is Andraste.

Though I'm not sure it'd actually BE Andraste, seeing how they said they wanted to keep religion ambiguous, and Andraste being some saviour spirit would...kind of change things.

None of us know at this point. Furthermore, the developers are unlikely to reveal anything like that. We will have to wait until the game is released in order to know for sure. My guess is the Divine, either current or a previous one.

I think it's a spirit who took the form of Andraste in order for it to relate to us. Spirits and demons frequently copy from the physical world, this spirit wants to help but was afraid of approaching in its primeval form so it altered its appearance to be friendlier. I imagine it will vary race to race.

Why would it be a Devine doesn't make any sense it's more likely it's her and maybe she gave you some powers

But seriously, im assuming its a powerful spirit within the fade who wants to help you against the elder one.

BioWare have since the beginning gone out of their way to keep the truth behind any of the religions ambiguous. I don't think they'll suddenly confirm Andraste as a holy entity.

 

If I were to guess I'd say it was a Spirit of Hope.

It would be funny if, depending on race, it would actually be Andraste (Human), one of the Creators (Elf), some Paragon (Dwarf) or Koslun (Qunari).

The Inquisitor shown in the trailer did look Human to me...

Well since the Inquisitor is Vashoth and not Qunari then seeing Koslun would mean nothing to them, might even seem threatening.   It is probably a powerful Fade spirit but the more pious human members of your entourage assume it was Andraste when you tell them about it.    I dare say you can believe whatever you want.

Perhaps you'll be able to choose that in case of a Qunari - the Vashoth were never introduced to the Qun, so maybe there will be a choice whether or not the QunQuisitor is an Andrastian?

Really, why would we see Andraste in this game? The better explanation is that's a demon posing her her.

I'd still go with demon posing as one of the few different choices (Andraste, Creator, Paragon, Koslun?).

Don't know if it's a good idea to put to much religion in this context.

Paragon? They were great artisans, warriors/generals, scientist.

 

If we to make parallels with the real world:

Andraste - you decide whos name to put here

Paragon - ... Isaac Newton or Julius Caesar?

 

And if this scene is from the beginning of the game (and not something that PC remembers somewhere in the mid game) would you really drop this much content on the new to this series players?

 

Spirit which is trying to contain some black bubbles behind him/her/it would be my guess.

... Actually, what are Fade Spirits doing  while the Fade is in such state?

The thing is, it's probably just a random Fade Spirit taking on a certain form.

 

If that is true, we can get Caridin for dwarves. Or Branka. Or Endrin Aeducan. Take your pick.

Only a ridicolous amount of pride would cause one to believe Andraste herself would reveal herself to you and empower you. As the good general puts it:
