If we have to actually think if that is Alistair next to Hawke in the trailer then I'm sure it's not him. The devs would have tried to make him look as close as possible to the actual Alistair, that person looks hardly like him.

Well, given Cullen looks nothing like earlier Cullen(s), Cassandra looks nothing like the old Cassandra, Morrigan doesn't exactly look like old Morrigan etc... I don't really know how much similarity is reasonable to expect.The devs would have tried to make him look as close as possible to the actual Alistair, that person looks hardly like him.
