I didn't think I'd want to get into the romance aspect of the game. I flirted w/ Anders and Fenris a little, and Fenris propositioned my Hawke after Bitter Pill quest, but I had her turn him down. I also had her turn down Isabela's offer. Now I'm a few quests into Act 3 and I was thinking it might have been fun to have Hawke in a relationship after all. Is it definitely too late to start one, or pick the flirting up where it left off? I can live without it but if there's a chance, well, figured I'd ask :) Thanks!
Can you start a romance in Act 3?

Yes, it's too late to trigger their romances once you shoot them down, they don't bring it up again (Anders will mention your LI in his act 3 quest if its Merrill or Fenris, but it won't trigger anything with him at that point).
Looks like this particular LadyHawke is 'forever alone', but there's always the next playthrough.

Ok thanks! You're right, I might do another playthrough anyway, since I was thinking it'd be fun to try as a mage & make some different choices :) And you know, it's kind of nice that they all totally let it go after you turn them down once! Some people irl aren't even that respectful LOL.

Since we're asking romance questions I have one. Can anyone please say if Isabela only has one chance to start a romance; that being her Act 2 "catching up" quest? I'm just curious.

If you flirt with her during her act two questioning beliefs chat in the hanged man the next time you go home a cutscene will trigger, assuming you haven't locked in a romance with anyone else, e.g. Anders or Merril moving in to your house. That's the only chance you get I'm afraid. Have a read of this:

Oh, so you get 2 chances with her. I have read that link before and it never answered my question. I just figured that with Isabela being slutty and all she'd have many chances to get her to show up at your place. Ex: Her apology quest if brought along on Night Terrors, being given the ship in a bottle, her Questioning Beliefs...
