For the record, in answer to an earlier question: yes, an IP address can help you figure out where someone lives. At least the general area.



We used it all the time when I was working for an MMO. If someone logged on from Birmingham, AL and then 10 minutes later from Shanghai, China, it was a safe bet their account was compromised.



Unless this guy is smart enough to use a proxy...which I doubt...if you find his IP, you can use sites like samspade.org to locate his general whereabouts.
