Well i don't se anger here here
You see no anger in the bit where he laughs about one of their deaths. That must take some effort.

So if someone laughs when someone someone tips over doesn that mean anger?
Anger don't make you laugh anger makes you mad.
So if someone laughs when someone someone tips over doesn that mean anger?
No. Laughing when someone dies terrified in front of you means anger.
The events of those comics occur before Cassandra's interrogation of Varric at the end of DA2. I think Varric tags along (maybe as a prisoner?) with Cass as she leaves for the peace summit. Varric is probably recruited at the same time as Cass.
Cassandra is the one that came up with the idea of the inquisitation she recruits Cullen at Kirkwall

No it doesn't i don't know from where you have such ideas so what he was laughing because he was angry pretty much laugh is last thing when peoples are angry.
If something it would be hate that provokes such behavior or simple indifference instead anger.
Actually I was quoting the person I was responding to before you interjected. The part of their post that I was referring to is as follows "I really think the Warden needs to make a cameo or be mentioned, for those who chose the ultimate sacrifice. There needs to be some closure. Wardens don't just ride off into the sunset and are never heard from or seen again.Ignoring it is cowardly." To which I responded "Well considering they're dead, I hardly think that classifies as "riding off into the sunset" Therefore agreeing with you, on the stance of not needing more closure.
Ha, well... there may have been a chance I was quoting the wrong person then. And for you to correct that, it didn't exactly say I was mistaken. ![]()
Also, this is a forum. "Interjecting" is not exactly a thing here.
In regards to the Anders debate:
So someone says to Gaider: "I am of the opinion that people that put Awakening-Anders on a pedestal over DA2 Anders weren’t paying attention to the foreshadowing. I played Awakening AFTER Dragon Age 2 and with foreknowledge… it is no surprise that Awakening Anders would some day blow up a Chantry. IMO, at least. He just loses his smile inbetween Awakening and DA2 and frankly… that happens. People failing to realize that characters change just like real life people is not a failing for the writers. Justice!Anders was perfectly visible in Awakenings. People want to boil Awakening Anders down to Pounce A Lot and “we don’t wear nuffin under our robes” but they forget the morose Anders that got all “the Chantry has to change!” And the Anders that pesters Justice about… Justice for the mages."
Gaider had this to say in response, via his blog: "I would agree with this… to a point.
I wrote both Anders and Justice in Awakening. The idea of what was going to happen to them was already actively in my mind at the time, and if you follow the dialogue between them (not to mention their dialogues with others), I’d think that’s pretty clear. The discussion at the beginning of DA2 was whether we would follow through on that idea, and how, and whether it might be better to do with another character (like Velanna). It was not something that simply came up out of the ether.
To me, Anders in Awakening is the angry, oppressed person who’s been embittered and rendered apathetic by constant defeat. He covers that with jokes, but the smoldering elements of it are still there… or so I thought I made obvious. Certainly Justice pulled it out of him.
The character in DA2 is not Anders. Or, I should say, it’s not solely Anders. If one was looking for him to be solely Anders, that character is not there. He is both Anders and Justice. As I’ve said previously regarding Anders in DA2, if there was anything I would go back and try differently, it would be to make the transition between the old character and the new a bit less jarring… have him be lighter and jokier in the first Act before he dives into angst.
Then again, for those who were looking solely for Awakening Anders, that would be unlikely to satisfy them anyhow, since that was never my intended development for the character, even back then. That and there’s always an element of this type of reaction from fans who want characters to never change at all. It’s not a desire I’ll ever be willing to accommodate, but I’m not going to knock them for feeling as they do.
As a consumer of entertainment myself, I too have seen characters/plots I like go in a direction I didn’t necessarily want (even if I might appreciate it, which is different). I’m not going to try and make an objective case out of it, as such enjoyment is very much subjective, but people will deal in different ways… and more power to them."
I thought you'd appreciate that, River. ![]()
I thought you'd appreciate that, River.
I did, thanks.
Making his change in personality less jarring would solve so much problems and so many complaints
I think the real question here is....what is Anders' real name?
If he's not going to tell Hawke, I don't think he's going to tell anyone. We may find out via a third party though.
I think the real question here is....what is Anders' real name?
Justice!

Vengeance!

I think that we have gone off the topic a bit ![]()

Shh. No one has to know. ![]()
since they do not talk having the warden helping in the mp section would be fun
Well considering they're dead, I hardly think that classifies as "riding off into the sunset"
no they are floating into it instead
Yeah, there's really no way my Wardens would wear that mass-produced Grey Warden get-up when they already possessed several of Wade's master crafts in addition to the complete Sentinel armor set and others.

Yeah, with the glowy red bits making it look like an evil face. Maybe a little 2edgy4me, but I liked it anyway. ![]()
Well... The Warden was actually my favorite Bioware playable character, so count me among those who feel attached. I didn't care much about Hawke.
I think that's how many feel, considering you can personalize the Warden a lot more, IMHO.
