Well did start a thread on this very subject:

I believe this quote from a recent interview with Miles Tost, a level designer for CD Projekt RED, is at least slightly appropriate:
"We make mature games, for mature players (every Witcher game is for adults only) and sex is, well, a part of adult life. The key thing is not to overdo it, not to sell your game with sex. As long as you remain tactful in what you do, as long as you have a legitimate reason to put sex in your game, I think it’s quite safe to do so."
The Witcher games? Tactful?
Hahahahahahahahahahaha ![]()
legitimate reasons? Hahahahhahaha ![]()
So giving random (non prostitute) women on the street a diamond which leads to sex immediately is considered tactful now?
Love and sex are different. u.u Having sex with prostitute shock me. But having sex with a character I learned to understand is beautifull.

Yeah, I don't consider what The Witcher games has done for their "romantic content" to really be any better then BioWare, they just show more fictional skin.
You're from France, right?
Is the blood still coloured green over there instead of red?
Aaaah what are you talking about ...? o.O It's red... If I remember well... Yeah red... o.O
Edit: Lol I searched on google. I typed "Mass effect sang vert", but did not find anything.. Why did you ask me this ? ![]()
How to improve romances in Bioware games (in two easy steps):
Step 1: Keep romances close to how they already are, except don't include sex scenes;
Step 2: There is no Step 2.
I don't mind sex scenes depending on nature of encounter. Out of the blue, it would be just sex. When coupled with a lover, and on the verge of may or may not die, I find it alright.
Allow it to be a choice and not detrimental to someone that doesn't want it would be best. Continue the hint of long life with partner as Shep could say to Liara, that was pleasant. ![]()
Sex scenes are hardly the weakest element of the romances. If anything, I'd say that the initial development of the relationships is something that has always been seriously hit or miss, mostly miss, in my opinion. I can take or leave sex scenes, but having the rapport between the two characters be more convincing would make a world of difference.
No I want sex scene... It's a strong way to prove our love... It's important.
Yeah but I can't conceive love without sex. Well I bet it's possible. But I'd feel it less strong.
Interaction outside of the bedroom is a plus for me. Relationships to feel real, not fake. Responsive as well, I do agree with a few others, it needs responsive. Example: if the LI hates or despises some action, and MC does it, they should have a response or even a wish to call it off.
Some want marriage first, this is why I said that scene should be optional and not detrimental to further advancements of relationships.
I agree. But I'd still feel it misses something if there isn't sex scene. At least, they should let us choice.
Aw I didn't see your second post. Well we agree. We need choice. ![]()

This is something I really hope for in the next game. I find that making big decisions and such are great, but I feel that a lot more weight is added to them when the followers themselves are more affected by it beyond a comment or two. This is why Dragon Age has me spoiled.
I think it's stupid to put that dark screen... If you want to make a sex scene, do it properly. Or don't. It's pegi 18+ damn, I already seen naked body Bioware. I'm fine with that ! >.<
Actually, I think most people have seen a naked body. Less others shower clothed? Well, Shep and Tray did......
It is 18+, if its a non-romantic fling, a fade to black is fine. DA:O actually had this pretty much, done. Then the romance was a sex scene not faded to black. Yep, DA:O had it nice. They did keep the females from kissing anywhere though, in DA:I as long as its not a hotspot, it returns.
Yeah... But DAO has mods. ME don't ! è.é*

Well ok it's true but who makes love with clothes ? I mean, not fetishist... I wish proper scene sex. I don't ask youporn. But a realistic scene... A real love scene ! >.<

Actually something I have seen only in Mass Effect 2 that I liked is you could call your partner to the Captain's Cabin and hang out with them on the couch or just lie together on the bed. This is only available after the end of the game, but I thought it added an interesting touch to the romances.

The problem is some rating boards would censor the heck out of the game then, it might be okay where you live, but other countries could even ban the game if they feel its too much.
That is true, some games get watered down to be sold in certain countries. Witcher 2 I am sure gets that treatment.
ME is already ban in those countries... It's not the point. If it's pegi 18+, it's cause of mature content. Censure mature content in a mature game is non sense.
While I understand that this isn't a movie, lots of films use romance as a major part of the protagonist's story without ever having an actual sex scene occur, yet despite this, we still generally get a lot out of it. Sex is fine and good, but they don't actually define the romance. DA2's sex scenes were definitely reduced compared to DA:O's, but I could only see this as a good thing, because DA:O's sex scenes were awkward as f*ck lol.
I didn't think it was awkward. It was really nice and beautifull. But I'm used to love and sex so.. I'm aware with this.
In ME2, I just feel it was really poor and weak. It really missed something in this scene. Something strong and real.
