Destructoid has a new preview of DA:I, and one line was pretty interesting.

"There's more Inquisition coverage on the way later this month, including a big announcement that I can't wait to share."

What could it be?

_________

Also this, from an IGN journalist, the bold emphasis is mine:

I played Dragon Age: Inquisition. It's wonderful. More to come. http://www.ign.com/a...e-inquisition …

_________

Destructoid also said they'd had an hour to run around in each zone (there are roughly ten), which indicates that some press spent several days with the game. We know that Game Trailers, IGN and Destructoid (at the very least) were all there, because they all had previews of the Fallow Mire based on actual playtime.

Edit:

Great evening playing poker @bioware tonight. And, if rumors are true, this week should be great for BioWare fans. Good luck team/friends!

That's an interesting idea, I guess PAX is technically still in August :P

I think I remember reading that BW wouldn't be going to PAX though, since it clashes with their final crunch period for Inquisition. Not sure.

(If media did interviews and stuff about this big announcement, I think they'd probably just release them though? Maybe with a website update or something.)

I just wanted to point out that while it is true the DAI team is very busy right now wrapping up the game, it does look like we do have some presence at PAX Prime. See http://blog.bioware....se-2014-season/

I am not sure exactly what is happening at PAX Prime, just wanted to point out that we are there in some fashion. I have no idea if there is going to be an announcement related to DAI there.

Apparently, according to some people on the internet it is also a shining beacon of hope for straight male white gamers who are, oh so opressed in the gaming industry.

I'm not sure how being a fan of single player gaming is the sole bastion of straight white male gamers.  I'm assuming that your target was Witcher fans, which isn't a necessary stereotype and will only serve to escalate things when they don't need to be.

Thanks.
