A secrete companion would be amazing but I think everyones happy with the ones we have (I am anyway)
I'd like a secret companion like DAO's. That'd be nice.

Wow, way to turn this around just to make your asinine comments.
I know, I'm horrible.
I subconciously look for ways to insert my snarky comments.
Character creation and this app for crafting stuff are probably within the Keep. I bet it's the launch of Dragon Age Keep with all this stuff and more to prepare the ground for the launch of Inquisition.
It's almost essential that they launch the Keep before the launch of the game so that the newcomers have more time to absorve all the lore about everything. And it's even more important to us since we'll probably spent a lot of time with every little detail and choice that it's possible within the Keep.

I would literally die.
I would literally die.
No! Don't die!

Ain't that the fun part? ![]()
Well there's the simple fact that you aren't being forced to play as human this time around, which was in Origins, and there is the return of heavily tactical, though optional, combat style. But before we jump to any conclusions, we should see what else is going on with the game. Besides, there have been dozens of improvements made to this game that make it entirely different from both it's predecessors. Having a mix of both doesn't guarantee that it will have all the traits of both, just some similarities. The ways in which it is similar to DA2 are mainly the way talents work, though they are also improved upon, as well as the way dialogue works, though that is also slightly different. That is what ties it to DA2. the similarities it shares, and that's what people are noticing, not a lack of re-used dungeons.
I think DA:I is going to be a great game. Two things only: I went to the article mentioned by the OP. And got a depression. That was what drove me to make my post.
That and a similar article in a magazine I read recently. These hype'ists hopefully do some good in creating some awareness and interest in Dragon Age. But their problem is that both of them liked DA2, and don't really have a clue about what was wrong with it. So how can they convince me that DA:I is a return to good form? They can't. I don't find the message I'm looking for in their previews. That makes me frustrated and (momentarily) depressed.
Same as that video on the voice acting. It plunged me into a depression, because I cannot perceive that I will ever play a character that will fit with her take on the voice acting. She is making a movie. I don't want a movie. That's the problem. It's likely that DA:I is great. But that's not enough (for me). If it's not a game that I want.
Oh well, we'll see how it all turns out eventually. And it's not like it's the end of the world. ![]()
I hope is not multiplayer, since I don't know what to do with it (I don't play MP, I play only SP games. and MP is usually conneceted to SP, and is something I DON'T WANT in any form or way. I hate being penalyzed because I don't like to play a feature I hate) ![]()
I hope the announcemant are the last LI, who is race gated, the Keep and the return of DAO's Warden, since we already have a confirmation for Hawke.
I get what you're saying. You want to see Inquisition previewed and discussed by someone who was primarily happy with Origins(potentially) but found DA2 to be less than stellar or lacking, making a note of DA2's pitfalls. That way if they say that Inquisition doesn't have DA2's downsides, you'd rest assured.
Let's look at the evidence:
1 Chris Carter review on Destructoid: http://www.destructo...ii-279148.phtml
He says:
2. Cameron Lee interview with IGN: http://uk.ign.com/vi...e-gamescom-2014
They say:
Analysis
From Destructoid, there's a big announcement coming up.
From Gamescom, there a part of the game that will be talked about at a later point.
These may be same thing or they may be two separate reveals.
Whatever Destructoid references is not going to be a love interest or app announcement by the way that is written.
The Keep cannot be the part of the game held over for EA Access as that is already confirmed for about 1 month out.
The save game comment makes no sense unless it is the immediate start of the game, or a save state for something else.
Put the pieces together and it's something significant and something not currently discussed by BioWare.
we will just have to see what the announcement is later this month but if i would have to guess it would be one of the following...

The Destructoid reviewer has pretty much that view about DAO and DA2,
"Whereas Origins was a glorious return to old-school RPG sensibilities, Dragon Age II played like an action game that took place in the same universe. I liked the sequel for different reasons, but it felt like a wasted opportunity as it attempted to juggle some of the RPG elements from Origins while having some faults of its own, like re-used environments and a lack of scale."
and his view is that:
"Dragon Age: Inquisition is shaping up to be a glorious return to most of what made Origins so great"
we will just have to see what the announcement is later this month but if i would have to guess it would be one of the following...
- The Keep
- App
- Character information
- Details on Hawke and the Warden
- Skyhold
- Inquisitor details
- DLC
- Multiplayer
- co-op
- Release details
- Some event like ME3's
- Characters
Im hoping that its keep related but it would be cool see an in depth look at Skyhold
In depth look at Skyhold would be nice.

why not both?
why not both?
Help Shale turn back into Shayle, she joins your party, now you have two dwarves instead of one.

But badasseder dwarf woman.
I swear to Andraste if this is multiplayer and I'm forced to play it like in ME3 then it's automatic -2 on gamescore from me.
