Two at least. ![]()
How about everyone claiming to speak for the majority, or who claim they understand the majority just... stop doing that?
Stating your own opinion is way better than invoking a fictional mass of supporters that probably don't exist.
Yeah. Bioware would never do that.
Except for that one time when they made an entire studio devoted to the MMO genre and spent about seven years and $200,000,000 on converting a beloved single-player RPG into a watered down, online shadow of its former self.

It would also be nice if we could stop insulting each other for having differing opinions. That too would be swell.

How is he insulting you?
I have no plans to play MP. But SP is looking to be a lengthy experience with loads of RP choices. As long as SP content isn't locked by my refusal to play MP, it's just another feature some might like that I won't take advantage of. The dollars going into MP are not dollars that would have gone into SP. I'm not playing a non-human or romancing IB, but it seems petty to complain these things exist. Same deal.
I like TOR.
The Imperial Agent storyline was good, everything else about the game is godawful and even then the IA story would have been better as a singleplayer game.

We all get carried away... ![]()
Ahem, at this point I'm more interested in taking bets about the inclusion of MP.

Not him I'm referring to.
1. Check page 21.
2. Scroll down.

4. Profit!

Sounds reasonable.
In that case, the interesting question will be: Will you fight in MP for the Inquisition without aiding your Inquisitor in SP in any way? Or if you do, how does that impact look like? And if you don't, will there be any "artificial" incentive to MP?
Ok, those are three questions, but you know what I mean...

I was going to make a bet that involved MP, but then I saw you play on Master Race.
I wouldn't be surprised if playing in MP gets you some single player reward.
Trophies for Skyhold (like the head of some MP-only boss) would be super.
If they do have MP, won't they need to have a fairly large scale beta? And something more than a few Xboxers doing EA Access for a week?

Not if they are just getting to play the finished product of Multiplayer. The beta testers could easily be in house.

That's a good point, as similar games with SP and MP have had betas; Uncharted 3, ME3. ME3's beta started a month before release, though, so there's still plenty of time for a beta to be announced/implemented.
Are there actually people who think there won't be MP?
Me ![]()
Only because the other DA titles have not had it. But I'm not opposed to its inclusion. I just probably wouldn't use it, in the same way some people may not take advantage of the crafting system or engage in a romance.
There will probably be an "online component" (because EA), and it'll go beyond the Keep.
It'd be kinda interesting if it ended up being something similar to the pawn system in Dragon's Dogma.

I know there are those who don't want it...

They've been doing playtesting around Canada for a year or more now.
The people involved all signed NDAs.

Well only 12 more days until Multiplayer is announced
Serious enquiry:
If there is a multiplayer.
and it definitely doesn't hold back single player.
Is there anyone here who would actually not buy and play DAI simply because the MP existed and was on the disk/download?
