I'm kinda surprised people are dismissing it out of hand, really.
I am by no means a big MP player generally, but ME3 was really fun - and there was even some limited story elements in the way that the multiplayer had a campaign of its own. People started roleplaying characters and stories, even though the customisation options were non-existent.
It's possible to convince yourself you'll hate something before even trying it, and I think sometimes it does lead to missing out on great experiences.
(Sure it could be terrible, but why make any assumptions about it at this point?)
So long as the MP doesn't affect the SP (like needing to play MP to get the best ending or to finish quests in certain ways) I don't mind it but I'll be incredibly indifferent.
I don't agree to the whole "you have to try it before you know if you'll like it or not" thing though. I'm not specifically against MP in DA:I, I'm against it in general. I don't play them for the same reason that I don't play MMO games: I hate having strangers in my game. If I could solo MP I would play it happily but I can't so I won't.
I don't really mind playing with a friend (in a few games, but no PvP ever), but since I have a grand total of 1 friend that plays games at all it doesn't happen that often. Some people say they made friends in MP like the ME3 MP but I'm not interested in making friends over the internet so that doesn't appeal to me either.
I would very much like a release date for the keep but I wouldn't mind waiting for it either.
News about a toolkit would be great but there's been so much talk about how hard it is to mod frostbite 3...
Has there been any official news about the announcement? I'm starting to doubt that it'sbreally going to be something big...
