I actually think with the evidence matching the achievements that were leaked. I would be very surprised if it was not mp.So far, more and more evidence has been collected towards the achievements being real, which in-turn leads to MP being real. The announcement may not be in relation to MP but that doesn't rule out the existence of MP in any way.
A new trailer is not really a 'big announcement' unless mp gameplay is in the new trailer. The only other possibility is the warden is featured somewhere. Still, my money is on Mp.Pretty sure their announcement is this:

The demo is probably multiplayer, and it'll probably be a hands-on demo for fans to try at the event.
One thing BioWare did very well was their multiplayer trailers for ME3. All of them were just excellent and really added to the hype of the release. (If you haven't seen them or forgot what they were like just google ME3 multiplayer trailers.)

I really doubt it. If they were honestly doing another MP thing, like they did with the ME series, we would have known by now.

As much as I would love that outcome, I'm trying hard not to hype myself that it will absolutely happen,
so as not to back myself into a serious disappointment over a game I am looking forward to anyway.
This is a mighty big chicken to count before it's hatched,
so I'm not counting it yet.

Normally embargoes are lifted and announcements happen on the hour, so... either in fifteen minutes from now, or more than an hour, or maybe it's happening at the usual time that Bioware has revealed stuff in the past (~4 hours from now).
